Justin, looking at Andy Skinner's list from 03/09/23 there are 21 names for a garage slot (I believe Graham Wardle has dropped out). Unless there are any additions I suggest split: Classes 1 & 2 plus one class 3 (7 total) Class 3 minus one (7 total) Classes 4 & other = (7 total) Malcolm

As Paul says, no need to touch the adjustment of the verniers, but there is the possibility the exact TDC position will be lost when undoing the bottom crank pulley bolt, as the cambelt lower pulley is a lousy fit on the crankshaft, unless it's been shimmed to fit. I've had it both ways, so I recheck the precise timing (my OCD) but real world difference to engine performance maybe is negligible. Malcolm

May or may not apply to your set up, but I cooked an old Lumenition ignition system on my Elan using the wrong voltage rated coil (no ballast resistor) as a temporary replacement.

I add washers (1994 dedion chassis), enough to take up the slack, with the dedion centrally located, +/- 2mm (or what ever the manual now says for later imperial/SV cars). Measurement for centralisation of the dedion can be problematic if the rear chassis tubes are bent! Malcolm
