  4. John, just a quickie, do you know how much he wants for the ticket? Thinking about going but i'll be Billy no mates Thanks Martin
  5. I've always used 32's and 48's and found them to be excellent on the road and track in the dry. As for wet road driving, i think you have to be double carefull which ever tyre you use. Something else i thought of, if your going from 16" wheels to 13" your going to experience a massive difference in gear ratios. It'll be very low geared!
  6. Hi Andrew, Ipswich is about an hour from me, give me a call. 07876205040 Martin
  7. Hi Mark, fronts have 032's only good for track and only one tyre on one 8" which is a 048 still road legal just! the tyres aren't worth anything. Stew, (ahem) lets just say a faux parr for now
  8. 8 spoke anthracite wheels: 2x 6 x 13 and 2x 8 x 13 Almost perfect condition bar 1 very small mark on the face of each of the 8's, about small stone chip size not actually chipped. very light marks on the inside of rims. £400.00 FIA roll bar: Caged, S3 de dion imperial, Good condition. £200.00 5 speed alloy gear knob £25.00 1 Pair of Black rear wings, fair condition, they were on my car for about a year so have been drilled for lights. £60.00 I would prefer collection but dont mind meeting up around the M25 near the dartford tunnel. 10. i can recomend "Taylors Foundry Motorsport" for flat floor set up, they've done an excellent job on 2 of my caterhams! *thumbup* Martin
  11. I'm not a leading authority on this, but as far as i'm aware the senders aren't great. Would of thought it was your sender. I'm going out to fill up if you want me to take a look? Give me a call if you like 07876205040 martin
  12. Graham, i would have said it would be more worrying if your fan hadn't cut in. At least you know the engine isnt over heating and you know the engine is warm enough because the fan is cutting in. Do you have a toggle switch that switches temp from water to oil? It may be that your reading oil temp and not water? Martin

    Break Lights question

HeHe , i'm always taking pee out of myself for spelling, i'm rubbish! Anyway, SM25T, you was bang on the money! Clutch pedal pin had touched one of the terminals and blown the fuse! Causing the terminal inside the switch to melt some of the plastic case thus not allowing the copper to make contact! Trimmed up the plastic with a sharp knife, now they work a treat!! Thank's Guy's, i'm of to put some miles on my freshly rebuilt VHPD!! Cheers Martin

    Break Lights question

Thanks Nick, i'm gonna get on that right now!
  21. Evening! Break lights have stopped working, they played up a bit when i was getting the MOT done on saturday! But managed to get them working by fiddling with the switch. I cant seem to get them working at all now, i take it it must be the switch? Could it be anything else? All the other lights are working fine. If so, do i have to get the new switch from CC, or is it something i can get from halfords? many thanks Martin

    C400 / R400

I thought most of the C400's were R400's converted? What is the difference between a road chassie and a race chassie? I have an R400 ex-race and the differences i can see are, handbrake under the dash, short passenger footwell because of low mounted battery. Is anything else different to the chassie? Quick rack, brake bias, stack, i thought were all standard?
  23. I've just had mine painted ASBO orange! It looks great but i'm sure the bonnet feels heavier! six coats, 2 base,2 pearly stuff, 2 lacquer!! i was hoping mine was the only one!

    cc 7" silencer

Markiebabes its a K, i still think 100 dbs is a little high at 4500. I nearly always get asked for 5500/5600. I had my doubts that the cc can would be quiet enough because it looks to short to me? I'm hoping that with a 7"raceco and remapping to stop pops and bangs i could get it down to 97/98 static?? Or is that wishfull thinking???
