I've always used 32's and 48's and found them to be excellent on the road and track in the dry. As for wet road driving, i think you have to be double carefull which ever tyre you use. Something else i thought of, if your going from 16" wheels to 13" your going to experience a massive difference in gear ratios. It'll be very low geared!

Hi Mark, fronts have 032's only good for track and only one tyre on one 8" which is a 048 still road legal just! the tyres aren't worth anything. Stew, (ahem) lets just say a faux parr for now

Graham, i would have said it would be more worrying if your fan hadn't cut in. At least you know the engine isnt over heating and you know the engine is warm enough because the fan is cutting in. Do you have a toggle switch that switches temp from water to oil? It may be that your reading oil temp and not water? Martin
