I go for the Howard Leight Max also, and make sure I have a handful in the car for whenever I have a passenger. If they're always in the car, there is no excuse.
I think you have to 'bend' open the clip which grips the blade. I ended up buying the whole unit as it had disappointment written all over it if I had tried to bend stuff. Jon
I am after some wheels for some 205/55 CR500s. Any idea if they will fit on the 7" wheels? If so would you be willing to split the 4 7" wheels into two pairs? Sorry for the questions! Jon
I took my 7 to Halfords to get my kids' booster seat (no back section as they are older and don't need one). They were happy for me to take a load out of the shop and try them out in the car before purchasing one. FWIW I settled on the Trunkie booster seat as it doubles as a rucksack and the storage space is useful. Jon
I blank off two thirds of my grill also in the winter. I can here the fan kick in when stationary in traffic, but the temperature never gets above 80°C.
I had something similar on my 1.6K which was the rear crank seal leaking (slowly) into the bellhousing and then to the outside world. Might be worth them checking when they have the engine out. I kept driving as it was a very small quantity.
I am after a pair of 13" x 8" wheels to have as spare. Not fussed what they look like as they will be for track days not used on a daily basis. Anyone have a pair or know where I might get my hands on some. Thanks Jon
Do you know the circuit configuration for the two days. Looking at their website I see there are quite a few variations, some probably more 7 orientated than others. Jon
do you get any other work done there, or just the MOT. I normally get mine serviced and MOTed at Ratrace in Pottersbar as it is convenient for the train into London, but it would be good to know somewhere more local. Jon
As the title. The screw which holds the ball onto the mirror support sheared off and is now rattling around inside. I 'just' need one mirror without any supports. Thanks for reading! Jon
It certainly was a great day. My first track day and the bar has been set very high. What a great track - made for a 7. Thanks so much to James and Dave for organising .
It sounds almost very good. However rather than activating it's single moving part once it has detected the battery voltage level falls below what is needed to start the engine, maybe it should activate its single moving part just before!
