How do the Classic carbon front wings compare to Ultimate carbons pre preg ones? Particularly as ultimate's front wings are £205 a pair. As ultimate carbon do rear wings, nose cone and bonnet too I was considering getting it all from them to make sure all the carbon matches. Thanks

I took my right front headlight off to cure a rattle. I'm now trying unsuccessfully to remember how it goes back together. The part I'm stuck on is how to set the ball adjuster before screwing the nut back up. There is a metal tongue/tab (whatever you want to call it) that I guess needs to interact with the adjuster ball however I can't get it to go together in a way that works. Getting quite frustrated, thought this would be a quick job! Anyone got a picture of the orientation things should be in when putting it back together? Thanks, Oli

I am running an ex Academy/Roadsport A spec car in class 3 this year. Basically my car is a class 1 car but I chose to run sticky 1b tyres so that puts me in class 3. I only have 120bhp from my standard academy 1.6 K Series engine, I don't have an LSD or a 6 speed box. I have done 3 events so far this year and have consistently been 4 to 5 seconds slower than the fastest cars in class 3. This is partly down to me needing to improve my driving skills but mostly because I haven't got the right car. Rather than go to class 1 on list 1a tyres and rather than spend money inproving the car to match class 3 performance I'll use this year as a trial and then look into selling this car and buying a ready done car whether that be for class 3, 4 or 5. That's the plan anyway! Oli

You'll most likely want to get a suit with FIA 8856-2000 on it. The suit regulation lasts 25 years so a -1986 suit is no longer valid, a -2000 suit will be good till 2025. AFAIK Kart suits usually have a CIK regulation on them Edited by - Jetto on 31 Aug 2011 21:47:28

Having never been to Curborough before will I be able to leave my Caterham/trailer there this Saturday night ready for Sunday? As there is an event on Saturday I guess I'll need to turn up at about 7pm to avoid a mass of people leaving?

I'd be looking to upgrade from my Roadsport A at the end of the season so would potentially have an interest in the sprint spec car. Obviously this is an early call but it would fall within my upgrade plan. Cheers, Oli

While I'd love to have a second place in class one unfortunately I was running in class three. (My car is a class one car with 120bhp but I've chosen to run list 1B tyres so I entered class 3). Thanks, Oliver

I've considered getting my Caged cage re-powder coated. It's got the original MSA/build authenticity stickers on it which will need to come off for a re-coat. Will this affect scrutineering for hillclimbs/sprints/race events?

I think this is the right length one to fit my Roadsport A standard K series exhaust with cat so I'll take it.

After a full drop sump oil change I have a leaking sump so I'm going to drop it again to check the sump for cracks etc and for safe measure will fit a new sump gasket. Before I get hammered by Caterham's new price does anyone have an as new condition sump gasket for a K Series wet sump that they no longer need? Thank. Oli
