Just got back from hols. That is a truly excellent photo/cover. Would make a superb poster. Pity about the dodgy Snoates interview. He makes it up as he goes along. I've never even met the guy. AB

Cheers for the offer Dave. I'll hold out a day or two for a nearer one. Spotted a new one on ebay for £18 all in (incl. stand) which is probably cheaper then fuel to Grinstead! [it is a K. 2 will be a luxury. 3 would just be spoiling myself, plus I don't like buying tools I only use once every 5 years] AB

I did the relay mod plus replaced the wire a couple of years ago. Worked well for a while, but now I sometimes have to start using a fly lead when its very hot. Must get around to cleaning the solonoid soon. I wouldn't cancel a track day over it - just start the engine before you belt up and try not to stall Maybe you've got the wiring to the relay back to front and the relay fails after a couple of uses with the big current going thru the small current side IYSWIM. Is the relay the correct rating? AB

Really enjoyed MIRA - got the sprinting bug now, and wondering if there might be places left at Loton... Thanks to all those who offered advice - apart from Tam. Suggestion: "You can go much faster through Tower than you would ever believe" Result: 100 yards of tyre squealing sideways terror Gary - there is always someone in class 3 to post an unreasonably fast time and reduce our lowly novice scores 😔 Pat - nice to meet you and very sorry to see the damage. I've given up the rollercoaster emotional ride of BBC weather forecasting. Don't look at it - they are just teasing you with random weather icons. The seaweed I've got dangling by the shed says its gonna be a scorcher, and anyone with soft Kumhos will wear them out on the practice runs. AB

The sun will shine, we'll humiliate the Ferraris and I've got new tyres. Who needs convoy runs/course walking anyway. Fat lot of good a walk of the course did me at Curborough AB

Thanks to all - Mark for trying to explain the lines to me (where a simple "just try to keep off the green bits" would have been easier to remember ), David/Adrian + Micheal/Kate for the "follow that trailer" based navigation system. Adam, was sorry to see you packing up early at Llandow. I hope you get it sorted. Just a thought, but the revs/pressure link looks way too perfect to indicate reality to my untrained eye. I'd guess that it proves its a sender/display wiring issue. Can't believe oil pressure can react THAT quickly to a change in revs. AB

No urgency from me - send them to Terry. If he doesn't want to keep them I'll have them and send 15 to NtL if that's ok. I reckon with all these people upgrading to fancy dampers there might be a few more out there. AB
