  1. I also ran on 23/24 for years but when I got new dampers from from Raceshock Simon recommended 18 which aI find better
  2. Previously CR 500 now ZZS
  3. I go with 1.2 - 1.25 Bar should be around 18 PSI front and rear
  4. My Caterham CSR wheel speed sensor is a 12-24V, max. load current 200mA, 5000Hz, inductive sensor par number XS1N08NA340 Telemecanique. with my 9A4 it was connected as follows: - Chassis (mass) / + 12 Volt from car battery / Signal to the ECU. With a 9A9 wit low side and high side drivers can I connect Chassis (mass) / + 12 Volt directly to the ECU? thks Hanns Per
  5. Hello Roger, this sounds great thank you very much for Your proposal. Lets wait if BTB gets a CSR customer in the meantime. If not I will come back to You in march if this is OK for You. Again thank You Hanns Per
  6. I made photos and sent it back but BTB thought they would need a car to get it right. this is the problem. Since I like to drive I proposed to go there if no other CSR shows up.
  7. yes a long way but the if it must be we will make it a rip in spring when the weather is OK They have a jig but it did not work out. if someone comes by and also wants a BTB exhaust for his CSR Joe Ellis offers free fitting.
  8. I sent photos to Joe when I mounted the exhaust and it didn't fit and sent the exhaust back for rework. Joe needs a CSR for this. When it comes to the worst I have to go there. But maybe someone nearby could drop by?
  9. I am looking for help to get a BTB CSR exhaust right. Is anyone with a CSR near BTB Exhaust (3-5 The Beaver Centre, Woodford Halse, Daventry NN11 3DP) and could pass by with his car at BTB and enable BTB to get the exhaust right which I bought and which did not fit. Could be anytime until March. thks in advance Hanns Per
  10. So I made the att modifications to my fuel map, I run lambda control enabled it go much better however not perfect but this seem to be normal thks.
  11. Thank You James I have no cat either. I tested Your fuel site for a short run but it started raining so I had only some 3 Miles. it still bangs now at lower rpm below 1500. So your fuel map at site 0 had some impact. However I need make a longer testrun. Could You send me Your chipfile for a comparison? thks Hanns Per
  12. aerobod: hat would be Your target Lambda map at site 0?
  13. thank you for Your feedback I have direct to head injection and not injection into the TB's, I will test cutting the fuel site at site 0 and report back
  14. I have strong backfire from approx 1600 RPM to idle speed when I decelerate down with the clutch engaged. When it reaches 1600 RPM it bangs from the silencer. I know its too much unused fuel getting into the exhaust. There is no difference if the engine is cold or at running temperatures. I did try with changing settings in the fuel map, fuel timing but with no effect on backfire. Any hint what I should look at, trying to get rid of the popping? Otherwise the engine runs very fine no issues. Its a Duratec 2.3, SBD TB's, custom exhaust, 260hp. thks for Your advice Hanns Per
  15. Hello James it lying infront of me, never used it can send You a picture
  16. Yes the air filter touches the bonnet, however since I do not tracks only fast road I rev normally up to 4500 only when aggressive overtaking more than I id not feel any performance loss. But maybe also because I don't really need it :-). However this intake forces filtered air into the TB filter and should also deliver enough for cyl. 1. On sparks I did not see any negative impact.
  17. this is what works for me best and gives me always ambient temps for the air intake: Radiator 10 cm slimmer than the original but 20mm thicker i.e. 60mm and one SPAL 13" fan VA10-AP50/C-61A. I just returned from a 4500 km trip through france with temps up to 37 degree and it worked very fine.I will stay with this concept. The only thing I would have made different is to have the radiator intake on the top left side and the outtke on the bottom right side, this because I have an water outlet from the cylinder head which goes to the left side. Here some pics: these power tapes are part of the test rig not yet final
  18. I had this too for years it always got wet and kaputt when it rained
  19. that´s why it is its pretty soft material, no aluminum sheet´
  20. The flip cover behind the seats in my car only covers this part of the car there is no box (visua, from objects and some rain ). I stuff things behind the seats and they are some sort of coverd.
