  1. Thanks so much. If I understood it correct then I should not touch the preload on the dampers for adjusting the ground clearance. Makes sense to me. Damper adjustment impacts the work of the dampers/springs. So dampers correlate to corner weight and the rear suspension. Since I have push rods I can adjust ground clearance with the push rods. However I have to adjust ground clearance on the rear suspension with damper preload?! HPK
  2. when setting up the front suspension of the CSR I wonder how push rod and adjustable damper springs relate to each other. to increase ride height do I make the push rod longer or do I adjst the damper springs? What do I have to watch out for? Thanks HPK HPK
  3. Thank you, yes the ECU is a different one. Thats why I think its not an easy task. Indeedd it could be of help to have a look into your plumbing diagrams. I do not have an oil cooler. HPK
  4. I have a CSR 200, EUR4, LHD The EUR4 type is somewhat more complicated than the EUR3 cars delivered in the UK. I would like to take off some of the EUR4 components to get a leaner car. However these components are part of the EUR 4 System (sensors, vacuum tubes are connected etc.). Can I disconnect these components without damaging the engine or negatively impacting the system. These are the components I would like to take off: Final 3rd silencer (I have 3: cataylytic converter, silencer, final silencer), this silencer is connected to a vaccum tube. Inlet air box, there is an air flow meter beween the air ox and the manifold. Dry sump oil piping: I want to make it like the EUR3 piping. Purge valve: I want to take off the purge valve, there are also sensors to the purge valve. Has anyone experience in simplifying an EUR4 CSR? Thanks Hanns Per KOBER HPK
