    samco hoses

I'd have some - Drysumped Xflow so I'd need to know what to measure.
  3. Can you send me a picture of the inner (outside part of the rim) as part of it seems to be diamond polished /smooth - what is the section upto the "spokes", painted or smooth?
  4. Any suggestions on tire width / suppliers for 13R7's? These would be for road/ possible wets so I'm thinking either: CR500's, Yoko 48/21's or possibly 720's. Thanks,
  5. Thanks Gents, seems like a load of a*se. Right, battery replacement suggestions and suppliers. Like the look of the redtop, what size?
  6. On a drysumped Xflow? I have a rather dead banner, and need to replace it. Looking at thought it will not comeout from underneather as the clutchcable, drysump pump and battery tray are in the way, the steering column might also be in the way. To remove it from the top I would need to remove either the manifold, carbs or both. Any suggestions?
  7. Or get either and put a Fireblade/R1 in!
  8. I'd stick with the supersprint. Also I'd suggest that the 8v Vx's have yet to find thier real value, bit of an ugly duckling IMHO.
  9. Casbar's a sellout, but right. Financially, unless you want to really keep the car, or do something unusual like a blade then swaping it makes sense.
  10. replacing it with a Zetec is more common as there are more shared parts (bell housing). Is you chassis post '96? Have you considered a fireblade?

    O/T Diesel Engines

No - stick out the front in a proper setup! (you can then use the crank handle to get it started)
  12. Dry sumped systerms take a while to get to temp due to the larger oil capacity. If you are out for 20 mins is the temp still low?
  13. Sounds like a fun way to get to 114mph. Following this with interest Noger.
  14. I'd say no as the waterways are usually allot smaller - I'd have thought the actual volume of water shifted is smaller than air at WOT/high revs. Why not either get one from scrappy, choose a big volvo/saab. Or better, get a charge coller setup (again the bits can be got from a scrappy) - heavier I know.

    Xflow exhaust gasket

no Get a copper gasket from the seven workshop - and follow instructions. Also check center manifold flange is flat as they can warp.
  16. Bugger. John you already have one!
  17. You will not be able to do club days without and FIA bar. I'd get the better tires as they will make a huge difference. This is a slippery slope to the incurable upgradeits.
  18. That does sound very good for the spec. Enjoy! (but get some forged pistons!)
  19. All polished (ish) - althought the surround+stantions could be powered coated, but at that point it might be worth going new. Remeber the screen is cracked (only in at the moment to stop the surround bending!)
  20. Hum, sounds like a nice spec. What is your exhaust like? Do you know the valve sizes? How good is the porting (no offence..) What ignition does it run? some people have 155bhp specs which was similar to this (1700cc, 244cam).
  21. Assuming a decent base spec you could; Get a big valve head, and exhaust to match or change cam (244, 254?)- fitting 3D ignition is a good idea as it makes the engine so much nicer to drive. What spec is you engine now (forged pistons, duplex cam drive, cam etc....)
  22. Hi All, I have one screen surround + stanchions, presently holding a broken heated screen. Roof bars+straps for '91 dedion. Pictures avaliable of both Offers? Located Brighton, Sussex.
  23. Mike, The plastic bit on mine measures 6" 7/8ths, so very nearly 6.75.
