  1. Clearly from what Crudders has said, the wing is bolted with a two bigger bolts at each end of the wing enabling the doing away with the central wing support I have. I guess if the bolt points for these two main bolts at each end are there then that will give you the wing line for the rest of them.
  2. Not sure you can get these from Caterham any more but you can probably get from somewhere. Maybe give Redline a call. Looking at mine the wing shaped bracket at the front is attached via a welded clamp on the top of the chassis. This bracket also holds the headlight & indicator. The wing is also held on with 7 bolts along the length of the side skin. Mine being 1988 year also has a mid wing support bolted through the chassis but later models did away with this. You will ned a riv nut tool for the side skin bolts. Hope this is of some help. Can take some pics & email them if you like. Gary
  3. Just had mine re-valved by Simon. I have yet to try them out yet as car is still un taxed. But looking forward to it. Simon says will make a big difference. Edited by - Gary Stone on 16 Feb 2014 19:46:03
  4. May be it's time to have all the front suspension off & get it re powder coated. After doing that to mine last year I now put some electrical tape along the front edges as SM25T suggests. Helps the stone chips & is virtually un noticeable.
  5. Sounds like a call to tech dept at Caterham.
  6. James Whiting & Redline. Both been in the business donkeys years.
  7. Your a top bloke Martin. Got a lovely warm house now
  8. Thanks for the comments. But I took the starter off this afternoon and had a peek inside. I found the main contacts which fire the motor a bit pitted & in need of a good clean with some emery paper. It's all back together & on the car again. I will see how that works now before doing a rebuild. Edited by - Gary Stone on 6 Feb 2014 23:44:44

  10. After having a chat with the very knowledgable Simon Rogers the other day my Nitrons will be winging their way to him tomorrow.

  14. Eurosport red race suit size 42. It's out of date as far as FIA is concerned but is in nearly new condition, hardly worn. Would be fine for track days. £50 plus P&P
  15. Have you considered using the water temp gauge to do both via switch on the dash. That's what I have.
  16. Cheers for all the info Steve. I like the suction cup idea, its same I have for my SatNav. Think I'll get an extra one though.
  17. Hi Steve. Yup..Had done all that. Seems to now work after I reinstalled the update again. Do you have any other camera set up tips that work well as i'm not going to have much time to play with it before we go. Cheers Thanks for you info.
  18. Just got a GoPro3 Black. Im having trouble trying to connect my iphone 5 to it to use a a view finder. According to the tutorials I should be able to choose a iphone or tablet in the camera menu but is not there. Any attempt to connect is also met with the iphone wanting a password. I was assuming that was the one I chose when I registered it on the GoPro web site but it doesn't work. Any ideas please. I'm trying to sort this before LeMans next week. Frustrated...
  19. Yes it was.. I flashed you from my normal car. I had just left for work.
