  1. Light blue with orange stripes. I was behind you in orange SLR as you turned right from A20 at mini roundabout towards Leeds Castle.
  2. I recently sold 2 diffs for Ford axle.

    Black Seven

Going through Offham Village at 10.45 this morning. I flashed you in black Merc.
  7. I have them on my SLR. They fit fine on mine.
  8. Is the year right John. Mine is number 118 & one of the last built in 2002. But agree that your price is to cheap for a SLR.
  9. Just had those repaired on my exhaust last week. £50 at Classics & Sevens.
  10. Oil is what your supposed to use.
  11. What LesG says. I bought a decent gauge that reads no higher than 30lbs so you get good accurate readings. Always use the same gauge & check tyre wear as you go. I have found 17 to 17 half lbs works for me on my SLR.
  12. As you now know it was my son driving. He did mention a lycra lunatic yelling my name
  13. The oil pressure on my SLR K Series decided to go to the 100 lb's mark the other morning on start up. I have a mechanical gauge. I'm thinking it might be the pressure relief valve sticking as pal 7erry suggested. Any one have any expierience of this or any thoughts before I get under the car to find the Valve. Thanks Gary
  14. Hi Dikko Try IKEngineering in Ifold, West Sussex. He knows his stuff with crossflows. He recently rebuilt my head & built my engine many years ago. Ike is his name...Mobile 07711 051391 Work...01403 753373
  15. As TomB says. Throttle bodies have a butterfly in the middle. Roller barrels do not. Good for full throttle but not so good for normal driving.
  16. A quick check in Tech Talk has resulted in the CR500 175/55/13 weighs 6.05kg & 205/55/13 weighs 7.03kg compared to 7.65kg & 8.80kg for the ZZS respectivley.
  17. Julian Do you know have a weight comparison with the CR500?
  18. Got mine from Caterham. £18 delivery
  19. A real confidence booster from Avon then.

  21. My SLR idles at about 1250 & still sounds lumpy.
  22. I stand corrected then.. I must have misunderstood what man at Avon said.. I'm still happy to go with the new tyre.
  23. When I spoke to Avon the other week the guy said the wet rating is misleading and doesn't relate to clearing water. Also Avon stopped making the CR500 in Nov 2014. So I doubt supplies will last for next 2 year. Mi have ordered the new ZZS. CR500 is old technology now. Things have moved on.
