Might be a really daft idea but I really don’t like the standard Caterham dash and was looking at swopping for carbon as I have done in previous cars. Problem is Caterham are looking for over £400 for an SV Stack dash in CF - ouch! So, I did wonder about a simple retrim of what I had in Alcantara?!

Thanks for all the help guys. On reflection it’s a bit Bizarre that something apparently so simple as having a a wee pot of touch up paint can become so complex!

Thanks guys. Spoke to Tony at TSK it’s Mclaren Orange and there’s not a paint code for it apparently as McLaren are clearly guarding that themselves. Anyway ow sorted with a touch up and some hardener etc

My new car is orange and I suspect it’s either/or Aztec orange or “Paint 7” as listed on Caterham parts site. Need a touch up stick and the ones from Caterham are some sort of two pack that doesn’t seem to harden so would rather buy something elsewhere. Hence the question as to where the colour originates? (It’s a 2005 vintage CSR)

Annoyingly my new car will not fit inside my trailer so having to sell it. The Minno has a tyre rack, winch, spare wheel, 6’6” ramps, rubber rear light markers and locking hitch lock. Like all genuine minos has a front access hatch. One previous owner and Until recently has lived most of its life inside. Tows brilliantly and very reluctant sale. Great trailer and has the benefit of being able to fit inside a garage. Hi Tony, thanks for getting in touch. Happy to sell the whole package but dont really want to take the tyres off to be honest as that will just cost me more money and mean I will have a set of slicks to sell afterwards!

I have a set of Barnby Mag wheels which are unused since crack testing, refurbishment and rebuild by Mike Barnby. Usual 6 and 8 X 13” Come shod with Slicks Now £795 (As I recall the refurbishment and crack testing cost me the thick end of £300) Collection from Glasgow or courier at your cost - a quick look at delivery charges and they seem to start at £20 for two pairs of wheels.

Good shout re DRE, had a set before and they were very good/easy to fit. Retro fitted a set of ACES lights and they were more hassle as I recall! DRE set now purchased!

Is yours a 200 or 260? Not that I expect it would make any real difference. Interestingly, Opie recommending 5W30 grade on their site.

Looking to see if anyone has a trailer you are not using/taking up space or want to offload? I have a nice Minno Shuttle with tyre rack, spare wheel etc but really annoyingly it’s too small to take my new Caterham (or my Exige). So I need a bigger one. What have you got? I travel around a fair bit with work so distances not necessarily a problem. Cash waiting for the right trailer! Feel free to drop me a PM please if your thinking of selling. Cheers Finlay
