My guess would be a stuck or sticking thermostat, try removing it and see what happens. If you do a search on here, you will see that many people drill a small hole in it. Joint Surrey AR and Su77on Se7ener

Its a thin (about 2-3mm) cable and the colour is black. My car has never had shift lights fitted , well there are no hole's where one would be. Joint Surrey AR and Su77on Se7ener

It ends at the ecu (rover 1.8 VVC) and winds its way over to the pedal box and under the dash, so the other day I had a look as to where it went When sitting in the car, the wire goes to the bottom left hand side of the Stack dash 🤔. As above. All 5 of them would need a refirb, but would be good for a second set of tires for track days . They do come with the correct "key" to undo the lock nut, and some do have tyres on them (cannot remember how many as they in the far right hand corner of the garage covered in all sorts of stuff). They do have plastic covers that cover the wheel nuts (saving wait over the ally ones 😬) but one does have the Caterham logo missing ☹️. As you can see, this is one of those ONCE IN A LIFE TIME OFFERS NEVER TO BE MISSED . So I hear you ask, how much do you want for them 🤔 Only £580, but if the ones here are sold I may reduce the price a bit . Joint Surrey AR and Su77on Se7ener

Hi martin , the powder coater should do all the prep work for you (as if it is not done correctly it will affect the final finish). I walk past a power coaters every day on my way to the tram stop in carshalton, I keep meaning to drop in and have a chat with them. I don't know them from adam, so don't know if they do a good job.
