  1. Hi, I'm interested in the wheels and can collect from Aylesbury :)
  2. I'm looking for 2 more 6J wide wheels to match the style in this pic. Most people call them SLR wheels, and they seem to be attributed to MB, KN & Image on this website. Anyone have a couple sitting around?
  3. We were following you Southbound on the A1 near Alnwick on Friday in black Defender 110. You originally came up behind us on the coastal road north of Bamburgh and then over took us on the A1 and we then followed you for about 10 miles.
  4. Being towed by a black BMW X5 along the A25 from Dorking to Reigate Saturday morning. Plenty of spare tyres on the rack I'm afraid I couldn't see much of the car as you were two cars behind me in the traffic. I was in the bright green 7 two cars in front*wavey*
  5. Monday evening about 7.30 parked in the church car park. I was dropping my daughter off at Explorers but unfortunately couldn't hang around to see who the driver was.
  6. I watched a yellow Cosworth BDG and the blue HPC go up the hill - were there any others? I did see Steve Carrol amongst the spectators As Andy says book as soon as registration opens; I managed to enter my Morris Minor this year but missed the boat last year.
  7. I have a whiring noise coming from the gearbox area when in neutral and the clutch is not depressed which stalls the engine when cold. It is a VHPD K-series, AP race clutch and 5 speed type 9 gearbox. After a little 'net surfing' some threads suggest a worn Spigot bush and others the thrust bearing. Other symptoms include clutch judder which is worse in reverse, notchy and stiff gears. Any thoughts?
  8. I was going to wrap my previous 7 in Chrome vinyl about 8 years ago for the launch of a new chrome vinyl but the technology wasn't quite there and the manufacturers pulled it at the last minute. I originally wrapped it in digital print in 2001 and fancied a change. Things have moved on a lot since then and now there are several chrome wrap vinyls on the market (forget Grafityp IMO their vinyls are cheap for a reason and nobody I respect in the industry uses their products). Although I've been wrapping vehicles for nearly 20 years now, I've never wrapped a car in chrome because no one wants to pay the £120/metre for the materials. I have several colleagues that have and none of them are particurlay glowing about it as they are not as conformable as normal cast PVC wrapping films. They look great from a distance but don't really stand close examination, so ideal for multi-millionaires to put on their Gumball cars for a few weeks but that's about it.
  9. Hi Dave, REceived my new brackets and just trying to fit them but the hole in the bracket is too small for the bolt to pass through :( I don't have a drill bit large enough to open up the hole, any advice? Paul.
  10. Hi Nick, Put me down for a set with postage please.
  11. Yep, I thought about that, could even use the hole in the dash that the imobiliser used to sit in. Good excuse to get a battery isolater & fire extinguisher plumbed in too*wink*
  12. Hmmm, beyond my abilities - back to the garage then! Thank you.
  13. When I've parked up for 20 minutes, I come back to find the radiator fan on, although it was off when I parked and turned the ignition off? Any ideas?
  14. Thanks Mike, just ordered 1 from CC
