  1. how far are you stripping the axle, you don't need to strip the flange off to remove the half shafts from the axle ?
  2. Just spotted Chris Gibbs has his car up for sale on Pistonheads if anyone is looking for a move to Class 4. Advert
  3. Just got confirmation our entry has been sccepted :-)
  4. I love epynt and have been every year I could, however this year i'm under orders as the better half has already made plans. For anyone who has not been to epynt, I've got to say it is an enjoyable weekend in the most unusual surroundings and is a great hill.
  5. The tires are 4 year old Falkens with approx 2mm tread, personnally i'd replace the tires for something new before using in anger.
  6. flag stones, block paving and weeds not included
  7. With tyres exactly as per the photo's
  8. Yes still available. Collection from Barnsley or any sprint event except for Epynt.
  9. Not sure if anyone else is camping, but were stopping at :- Chestnuts Campsite, Norwich Road , Fundenhall, Norfolk , NR16 1EG http://chestnutscampsite.co.uk/ 7 mins away from Hethel. just realised that it's a bank holiday weekend so we are going to stop over on Sunday night as well rather than tramping back home.
  10. Mat Who On a serious note proud to bit's with Mat's driving, seems like the jump from a classic 40 BHP mini to a 140 BHP caterham is not too difficult I'll just have to turn down the boost & Nitros on Mat's setting
  11. Competed at Goodwood this weekend, liked the feel of the new brake pedal, just found that myself braking two early and two hard, a few things to unlearn and relearn I think
  12. All fitted & Working, only things i'd overlooked was :- Yolk attachment for top of brake pedal. T Piece to connect two front brake lines into the single outlet for the front brakes. Test drove and much better.
  13. Thanks to BG Developments, a new uprated master cylinder is winging it's way to me on a Pre 10am delivery, after being collected from AP :-) A big thanks to Dave Fuller for his great customer service.
  14. Mankee, that's spot on, reading through the other forums the body is the CP3627-101C and the complete unit with reservoir is CP4627-2PRM100 . The Marcus forum even points to a stockist. I've sent them an email and will see what comes back. Picked up one interesting fact which have never twigged before which i'll put down in case someone else finds it useful in future, the ports are marked P & S P is the prime circuit which is connected to the front S is the secondary circuit which is connected to the rears. on pressing the pedal the prime circuit operates first and then after closing a clearance gap the Secondary circuit operates.
  15. I've done a drum to disc conversion on a live axle, with the increase in piston size on the disc brakes the brake pedal is deffinatly softer, I know the standard master cylinder is 5/8" and the updated 13/16" but I think the live axle is actually smaller than the current standard. It's not a case of replacing the seals as fundementally the current master cylinder is fine just under sized now. To move suffient oil to correctly operate the rear brakes i've got a longish soft pedal travel. By swapping to a upgraded master cylinder I should get a shorter, firmer pedal travel, I accept that to get the same braking force the affectivly I need to press harder,
  16. So with both Caterham and redline being out of stock apparently since december what alternatives are available instead of the ap uprated brake master cylinder ?
  17. Umm that would probably explain why Redline have not responded to my email request for an uprated master cylinder.
  18. I'm running a test day for the South Yorkshire area tomorrow, unfortunately due to an accident today there's now a place spare. If your interested please drop me a line, and hopefully ease the sting from today.....
  19. The L7C Competitors area infomation is from last year and may need adjustment. I'll ask for clarrification.
