Good point. That was what was in mind with that mock up design. Take the "new" logo, make it 7 friendly then the brand is stretched. Possibly have a logo family. Make the 7 brand clearly that, but also clearly part of the new Caterham business. Ok, I'll go back to my Engineering now.

I had a spare few minutes so I thought I would see what my primitive Power Point skills could come up with looking at the new logo and thinking about the company pedigree. If Caterham are going to change the logo, how about this? Sort of a half way house? My partner says it is still naff though Note - I is an ingineer not a grafik designer!

Here's a thought..... If we are concerned about: The new Logo Focus on new High End models Tie in to F1 Losing the feel of what Lotus and then Caterham meant to their owners etc then maybe some enterprising people who read this site could consider an MBO = Membership buy-out! Of the stuff that we consider represents the world of 7's. Not unlike the buy-out from Lotus way back, just this time not the management buying it but the Members/owners/drivers. Any takers?

I'm thinking that I'll leave it till Monday and if there is no interest here, I'll start the job of lising the gear on eBay. I was hoping someone would save me the pain of that and am still hopeful

I have finally decided that I will be very unlikely to go back to 35mm film so I am selling my collection of Olympus based cameras and lenses. I have had some of this gear for 25 years, some for 15 years, so it has been well cared for and used carefully. It all does, though, show it has been used I was going to list it all on flea bay but thought I would be likely to find someone on this forum that would treasure the Olympus collection as much as I did (do!) I am hoping I can find someone to take the lot off my hands in one go so with that in mind, here is what I have for sale...... OM4 Black, what a fab camera. I have taken some brilliant photos with this. OM2 Black, good little semi pro that gives you control OM1 Silver, solid sturdy reliable all manual starter camera None have been used in anger for about 5 years but I have just put in new batteries and checked them out and they all seem fine. Handbooks for the OM4 and 2 Auto Winder 2 - fits all 3 cameras and works fine Tokina 28-135 f4 Tokina 28-200 f3.5 (my favourite lens for almost everything i did) Tamron 80-200 f2.8 (excellent for higher speed photos) Olympus 50mm f1.8 (on the OM2) Olympus 50mm f1.8 (on the OM1) Olympus 75-150 f4 Olympus 35-70 f4 Kiron 28mm f2.8 Sunagor 300mm f5.6 Bell and Howell 650mm mirror telephoto - ideal for budding paparazzi! All have lens caps, many have skylight filters, one has a polarising filter. Assorted spare lens caps Cokin fliter system for 67mm lens (fits the Tokina 28-135) with more than 20 different types of filters effects etc - some are a bit worn! I am pretty confident these are all in good order from looking at them today but I can't guarantee any of these items so all are "sold as seen". I am happy for anyone to inspect first if we can arrange that. Looking at average ebay prices for this gear the cameras would go for about £300-400 and the accessories for about £400-500. Happy to let these go to a loving Olympusphile for £500 as a job lot. They weigh a fair bit and take up quite some room so collection or arranged delivery/meeting would be best. Just listed this on flea bay here It's on a 10 day listing and am happy to let it go to a club member now for £175 plus P&P. Lots of extras that make this really useful.
