I had wrap on my 1969 mini cooper S when it was fitted with a Shorrocks supercharger. It was a complete pain to put on but it was in good condition when I removed it 7 years later
Many thanks.
Although mine measured 5.72mm with a vernier, 6mm is possible and I've just established that M6 has a pitch thread of 1mm giving a TPI of 25.4.
Currently looking for a 6mm nur to confirm!
I'm referring to the Allen studs that hold the frame onto the runners rather than the ones that bolt through the floor. I need to remove the seats to replace the seat belts. Is it easier/ best to leave those and undo the nuts & bolts through the floor?
I'm trying to find out the size of the 6 bolts that hold the seat frame in (1996 Supersport) They are 7/32" with 24TPI but I don't know if they are UNC or BSW Does anyone know please?

My tyres have plenty of tread but I know they are at least 9 years old so want to change them. I have a 1.6 K series Supersport with flared wings. It has 14" wheels but I also have a set of 13". The car is for road use only and has an aeroscreen so I'm not worried about the tyre performance in the wet! I've looked at previous threads on here and many go back 20 odd years so not really relevant. I think tyre availability for 13" used to be a lot better than 14" but now that's the other way around? Any advice appreciated
I worked at Nissan for over 20 years and Rivnuts were used in many applications. However, the body panels were designed with recesses to allow the rivnuts to sit flush on the panel. One example was the door courtesy light switches.
I'd say it depends on your seats, floor and size of your body and legs! My car is an S3 and I'm 6'1" average build (13 stone) My car has a 270mm momo wheel (about 10½") and I would struggle to drive it with a bigger wheel.
