  1. I thought probably 1996, the year of my car but there is a label that says: FIA 8854-1991 B-029-T There is someone "interested" on a Facebook group!
  2. SOLD D A pair of Blue & Black Caterham/Luke 4pt harnesses. Good condition Older style Caterham lettering £50 Collection Bedford Or £8 UK P&P
  3. #7 Definitely not, some work planned on mine shortly. I think "generally" he is not taking cars in, but still doing engines.
  4. Thanks I've done just that Disconnected the connector at the rear. Fed pump 12V, it works Ignition on no 12V at the connector. Trying to establish why not. If you have an engine loom diagram for a Mems 1.9 that would be great please 1996 1.6 Supersport
  5. Thanks Is it in the passenger footwell under the fusebox or in the engine bay under the ECU? Not home can't look!
  6. Many thanks I'll look, Do you mean under the dash passenger side? I have 4 relays there, horn, hazard, flasher & lights What's a MFRU? Or do you in the engine bay, physically under the ECU? I unbolt the ECU and there it is. Excuse my ignorance on this!
  7. Does a 1996 1.6 K series have a relay for the fuel pump? There is a pin out on the ECU but my handbook doesn't show a relay fitted. My car won't start as the fuel pump isn't working but the pump itself is okay (I've checked the fuse and bypassed the inertia switch)
  8. #19 #23 Thanks Both My car is 1996 and the lower joints have an internal (female) thread which is ½" so not the ones mentioned by SM25T. Does anyone know if these are QR1572?
  9. My question was referring to what the bottom parts were.
  10. Are the bottom ones 1/2" as used on Triumph Dolomites and Midgets? QR1572?
  11. I have a set of Bilstein dampers with springs for an imperial S3 (I don't know if different for metric/SV) The dampers are (I think) 9 years and 12,000 miles old. No idea about the springs, there are no visible numbers on them. Working fine, no signs of leaking and passed all MOT's without mention. For sale as I've upgraded to adjustable units. £175 + P&P (Or collection from Bedford, MK43 8QU)
  12. The hex key/ Allen size that I'd need for those fixings, not the nuts that I can getva spanner or socket on.
  13. I'm about to change the dampers on my 1996 car. Can anyone confirm the sizes of the front lower and rear upper fixing cap head bolts. The bolt list says 5/16" and 1/2", but mine definitely aren't. I think 7/32" and 3/8" but would appreciate a definitive answer if anyone knows. Thanks in advance!
  14. Or, send me the bolts and I'll extend the thread!
  15. Have you got taps and dies? You could extend the thread. If not I could post you a 5/16" UNF die & holder to borrow.
  16. Buy 2" from Namrick for 60p and cut ¼" off the end?
  17. #4 I had the same issue with mine 18 months ago. I got the impression it was supply problems due to Covid at the time. It might be worth asking what the current situation is now?
  18. I got my Tonneau from Soft Bits for Sevens, extremely pleased with it. I got the Mohair version https://www.softbitsshop.co.uk/the-2-part-tonneau-66-p.asp
  19. Thanks I thought mine was EU2 originally but found a website that had photographs and good explanations, mine is definitely a MEMS 1.9. As my engine has been well looked after and is low mileage and the only mods are an Apollo tank, vernier pulleys and a Powerspeed exhaust, I'm thinking the addition of Jenveys, an Emerald ECU & plenum type air intake as suggested would be an ideal way to get 10 to 15 BHP? without the need to remove the engine nor put undue stress on it.
