  1. Grove Park. We’ve met a couple of times (but I’m clearly not very memorable)!
  2. 2008 Kawasaki ZX6R in green. One owner from new, meticulously maintained 33,686 miles with full Kawasaki main dealer service history (14 services, all invoice supported). Serviced in Jan 2024, MoT valid until 25 Jan 2025, no advisories. Covered by Kawasaki warranty until 2012 and had a top end engine rebuild at 18k miles in 2010 by Kawasaki dealer. Expenditure in the last 1500 miles includes major service (incl plugs, brake fluid etc.), new front and rear Bridgestone Battlax BT016 tyres, fork rebuild, battery and another minor service. R&G frame protectors and fork protectors fitted. Bike is in exceptional condition cosmetically and mechanically with very clean MoT history. Maintained on a no expense spared basis, the bike has been 100% reliable and needs nothing. Sadly, I’ve been riding it less over the last couple of years and so it’s time for a change. Comes with all supplied keys (3), books, manuals and paperwork from day 1. Bike is located in Chiswick (London W4). Any questions or if you would like to discuss further, please let me know. Competitively priced at £3250.
  3. Hi Simon. Looked today and unfortunately couldn’t find it. Must have gone during the last clear out, apologies.
  4. Hi. I may have a spare one but it is orange. If of interest, let me know and I will check the garage.
  5. Secure underground parking space in a private development just off Chiswick High Road, less than 3 minutes walk to Gunnersbury Tube station (District Line). Designated space is located behind 2 sets of high security gates (remote fob access) and monitored by CCTV. Available for rent at £210 pcm. Refundable deposit required for key fob. Short or long term contracts. Any questions, please let me know. Thanks
  6. That's a good result. What did you do to get them at finish? Also, can anyone suggest the best place to get replacement rubber trim for the edges and the adhesive to stick it down with? Thanks
  7. Thanks for the positive comments, I still have the car. Had a couple of great road trips in it and decided to keep it a bit longer. Now that spring is here, I'm using my other cars more and this is back in storage unfortunately. I've been lucky enough to have several 911s over the years and the "best" model depends on what you want to do with it. The 996.1 is very simple and great fun to drive.
  8. I have the previous 8 spoke ones, very happy with them
  9. @ Roadsport06 My ClassicLine policy is with ERS (Equity Red Star). We did have a discussion about potentially repairing the car and it would have gone to Arch. We agreed to write it off in the end and I was paid full value, no quibbles. Their trackday cover says ADTO but I called them last year and they covered a club trackday at Anglesey for me. I did a private trackday at Castle Coombe (who are not ADTO registered) and they wouldn't cover that.
  10. I've been using ClassicLine for a number of cars over the years and also for my 7. Great service from knowledgeable people, usually close to the best price, cover for 5 trackdays included, agreed value etc. importantly, the one time I had to claim their service was faultless. I phone around to ensure they are in line but always use them. https://www.classiclineinsurance.co.uk/
  11. Euro 4 compliance (ULEZ requirement for petrol cars) was mandatory for all new registrations post 1 Jan 2006 (i.e. post 2005).
  12. Due to the lack of emissions data / CoC for Caterhams, they just use the date to determine if the car is compliant or not. If registered post 2005, it will generally be compliant. If before, generally non-compliant. Even for the same car, engine spec etc.
  13. Please keep us posted on your impressions. I've always been curious and want to take my cars down there at some point.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss the car in more detail or arrange a viewing. Thanks for looking.
  15. Agreed you may not want to drive into central London but hard to avoid the ULEZ issue if you live there and want to get out! My problem is I love the character of the K series and not sure if there is a good, compliant alternative so may just have to live with the cost. Assuming 20 days use per year (realistic for me), that's an extra £250 of road tax. Not ideal but not a show stopper either.
  16. Looks radically different to your current car Andy!
  17. Spoke to Brian and he couldn't have been more helpful. Knew which part it was and checked with the tech team and popped one out in the post to me. It's great when you get such good customer service. Thanks all for the help.
