  1. Hi I took the opportunity to clear up my garage while the car was away for servicing and have various accessories and parts I no longer need. All are for a S3 car unless generic in nature. Caterham tonneau for Tillett seats with slot for petty strut. I have two, both in very good condition with signs of light use only and some marks from storage. £85 each. Caterham full hood in very good condition, no tears / cracks and the screens are clear. £150. Caterham half doors in excellent condition. There are a couple of fasteners missing but easily replaced and otherwise superb. £100. Aeroscreen with 3 mirrors. I don't know which manufacturer this is from and I don't see any markings to help identify it. There is some corrosion to the boltsbut no damage apart from a small chip I have photographed. £75. Oxted Tillett leather seat pads. Very nice black leather seat pads with contrasting white stitching. The leather is in lovely condition and has been regularly fed / treated. There is some wear to the seat area as expected and some colouration to the backs which you don't see when fitted. Will need some double sided sticky tape / Velcro to affix. £65. Caterham harness pads good condition, in black. £10. Caterham petrol cap in orange with Rover key and flange / gasket. £20. CSI Air Flow Battery Air conditioner. £10. Classic Additions lightweight outdoor car cover in size D. Great breathable cover that can be used indoors or outdoors. Limited use over a period of about 6 months. This will suit a large sports car like a Porsche 911 (991 shape). £75. Everything is in really nice condition and very clean. Prices are plus postage at cost or collection from Chiswick, London W4. If you need any more information or pictures, please let me know. Thanks

  3. Hi Sent you a message re the boot cover, centre cap and harness. ThankS
  4. I will have a set available in about 3-4 weeks. Some bubbling to the paint but otherwise straight and no damage. Fitted with CR500s in good condition, 5mm tread but over 5 years old. Let me know if of interest and I'll send some more details. Will be cheap!
  5. Hi John That is the filter and it does fit. It just needed seating correctly at an angle before lifting to allow the filter to be fastened to the backing plate. I think I wasn't locating it correctly until someone kindly pointed that out. Thanks again.
  6. Hi I received the new air filter today and looks to be exactly the same as the one that came off which is good. The 3 Dsuz fasteners line up perfectly and hold the filter securely. The black plastic tabs at the bottom of the filter don't fit the two long slots at the bottom of the backing plate though as they are parallel to the plate rather than at 90 degrees to it. Is that how it is meant to be? It looks no different to before but intuitively I would have though the tabs on the filter or the slots on the backing plate should be a 90 degrees so they slot together. Thanks
  7. Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated. Will give them a call.
  8. The upside down view is actually quite helpful as that is how it looked when I put my head under the dash and looked up! Seems straightforward enough to access the bolts but does look a snug fit against the scuttle. Will report back. Thanks all for the help.
  9. That's very helpful, thank you all. Doesn't look too bad as you say but now I have to work out how to get the scuttle panel off (bear in mind this is my first 7, I am not that hands on but trying to learn!). Any tips on taking the scuttle off?
  10. Hi My car is fitted with the stack instrument panel and I am getting the message that the internal battery is low. It was fine in Dec when I last drove the car but has just come on. I know these can be sent back to Stack for servicing but can anyone tell me how to get it out? I had a quick look online and in the instructions but couldn't find any instructions and don't want to break anything. Thanks
  11. Perfect, thanks guys. I wasn't sure if there was a specific part number but will check and get one ordered.
  12. Thanks all for the feedback. Hi Stu - Yes, that's the one.
  13. Hi Does anyone know the part no or have a link to a replacement standard air filter for the above? Car currently has an old Pipercross filter but I can't find a part no on it. This will be for road use only so want some induction nose. Are there any alternatives that people use and how do they differ from the standard one (performance, noise etc)? Thanks
  14. I did, thank you. Was hoping to find a used set for a bit less but the used sets seem to be similar cost tonnes so that is where I might end up. Thanks for the steer.

    VYNAL WRAP

That looks pretty good. I quite fancy doing something like that.
  16. Still looking if anyone has one or knows of one for sale?
  17. Reading this with interest as I am in a similar position. My R400K looks to have the same system / collector and no Cat. I suspect this will cause me problems come MoT time unless I find a friendly MoT station?
  18. Very helpful feedback. All this talk of 15" being a tight fit makes me think 13" would be better!
  19. It's the standard S3 chassis and I would prefer not to have any issues with the arches fouling. I did see the other thread JV, thank you. Looked very close in that picture!
  20. Really good feedback, thank you all. Sounds like 13s are better on track but not so clear cut on the road if both set up well. If sticking with 15s, tyre choice seems limited. I'll avoid the Toyo TR1s but there doesn't seem to be much choice in the correct size with a 45 profile. The wheels are a snug fit under the arches as they are and I wonder if switching to 50 profile tyres will cause them to foul? For those on 15s, do you go for 195/50/R15 ZZS or R888Rs and any issues with clearance? Thanks
