I am sure I have seen someone's DIY sump guard on here but having done a search of "sump", "sump guard"" and "guard". I cant find it it. I gave up at page 25. If anyone can direct me to this, please let me know, as I have scraped the sump on the road and really want to add this.
I bought these and they were the prototype for the pedal with the tube thro' the middle. Absolutely recommend as I now do hill starts without using the handbrake with confidence now. My 7 is a '97 car so the handbrake is out of reach under the scuttle.
Hi all I have heard from others that once you use the gunk repair stuff, the tyre cannot then be repaired. I will have to go to our local tyre guy and ask him. That why I thought of the spare. I have now emailed "Puncture Safe" to find out cost and where it can be done, as that does sound good and better than the repair stuff
Hi There is part of a minilite wheel in the picture. I am looking for one only 5 1/2 by 13" diameter. I am interested if you could PM me. Looks like you're in St. Helens and I am in Essex so I would ask you to send to me. On ebay sets of 2 to 4 are priced at £27.50 to £50.00 each.
Hi guys, Picture of my rear end and the spare wheel carrier. I'm afraid that headstands are necessary to look at pics as I cant figure out why they are upside down.
HI I've just bought a 2nd hand wheel carrier for my 1997 "7". No instructions came with it so if anyone has any that they could send me it, or point me in the right direction, would be greatly appreciated. I have checked with the build manual, kindly provided by Jonathan Kay but it's not in there
Hi Ian I am interested in the following. Caterham jack / tool set Removable spare wheel carrier / numberplate As I am in Essex, could you either post or Hermes and I will pay the additional cost
I had this problem and followed club advice when posted last year and used the Ford ones. So far so good. I believe that as I have a metal mirror mount and smaller mirror, from CarBuilder.com. That helps as they don't shake any where near as much as plastic mount with plastic mirror
My local guys seem able to get most tyres, might be worth a try. You would need to ring them Queens Park Tyres, Billericay, Essex 01277 650422 You can order on line but that is mainly the best sellers
Have looked at ebay and there are a couple that look a bit different. I am thinking of getting one so could someone either confirm that the link below is the one to get or let me have a model number please. https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=sealey+auto+bleeder&_sacat=34998&LH_TitleDesc=0&_odkw=sealey+brake+bleeder&_osacat=34998
They do look great but I have gone for the cheap option of 2 old flannelette sheets which are nice and soft. Only down side is that they are pink, but im not that proud to worry.
Hi all, I want to change my tyres this year as they are a bit long in the tooth, as they say. I have read many recommendations for track tyres, BUT as I only use my 1997 crossflow on the road, has anyone any recommendations for road tyres please.
Their should be something in the manual, I would have thought. I have a 1997 Crossflow, which has itRide height.pdf . Tried to upload but failed. If you want the onfo, messag me with your email and I will send to you. It is different for Live Axle and De-dion
Can I access the archive for the "Get to know your Seven" articles. I have done a few searches but as with most sarches i get irrelevant stuff like "Heat Pumps"
