  1. When I lost my sump plug Boxing day from K Series 1600 1998 vintage a friend of a friend who is a plumber had a 1/4 BSP fitting in his box of bits, it is a perfect fit. So any plumber you can find would probably be a good start.
  2. PM sent but interested in a K Series 4-2-1 complete system

    Diff Replacement

Imperial S3, left the dedion in place and diff came out easily enough, the power of gravity I guess. Getting the new one in proving a bit harder. In theory it should be easy as car is on a lift and I can lower it on to the diff which is supported on a work mate. Not able to fit it between chassis rail and the dedion, which is pulled as far back as it will go. Only a couple of mm needed Is it better to get nose of the diff in first or the rear? Thanks in anticipation of guidance.

    Exhausted

I have a recent, last month, price of 1,500 from Powerspeed for 4:2:1 with 7" repackable silencer without a Cat, or 1,680 +Vat if with 200cell built in Sports Cat. These are for the actual item without fitting but with free postage - I would probably collect. I am in the market for a Powerspeed 4:2:1, but having just bought some Nitrons piggy bank is rattling a bit, so currently on hold. If there is the possibility of a group buy negotiation for a reduction on the 1,500 then count me in.

    Noisy gearbox

    Sorry wrong thread
  14. Did mine recently - day before the MOT, used some "universal" ones from the local motor factor and these were fine, probably identical to the ones that came off.
  15. Just fitted this one, which I don't recommend. http://www.screwfix.com/p/redring-instant-manual-i3v-hot-water-hand-wash-3kw/5157j water comes out between the outlet pipe and the nozzle in a vertical direction which is not ideal. That said water is hot, useful for softening rubber tubing.

  19. Had this type of clonk on my car from acquisition. Car bought as a refurbishment from a respected Seven specialist, was really bad and detracted from the driving experience. Traced source to the abscence of the two nylon washers either side of the rear A frame bush. These had never been fitted / replaced. Adding some transformed the driving experience.
  20. After the clean up do you know if you have improved the voltage seen by the ECU and reported in Easimap?
