Having been there on many occasions Mike I agree it is a part of the world everyone should visit at least once. At that time of the year, you may encounter the start of the infamous 'wee beastie' season - (google Scottish midges). It would pay to go armed with plenty of Avon Skin So Soft. Exact midge season start is difficult to predict accurately, a lot depends on the weather earlier in spring - but best be prepared Happy to share some of the great routes up there if needed I'd love to come along, but I'm already apporaching my quota of 'car weekends' :) Rog
