wild bill
Fitting rubber to RiF Aeroscreen what's the best contact adhesive to use. Sikaflex is no good as it requires time to set and a huge number of pegs.

wild bill
I can't find a superglue that's waterproof, maybe silicone is the way to go
Dickie Normuss
I did mine with a high quality silicon, not fitted to the car yet but seems to be ok. Ferrino
I've tried superglue when fitting trim before and it's a royal PITA to do it without making a mess! Prolly just me though
Steve Cragg
I just used normal Bostik when I fitted mine. You are only really looking for something that will hold it in place while fitting rather than needing to glue it properly. Once the screen is bolted on it holds the rubber edge seal in place anyway. RiF
Evo stick, Bostick are fine. Others have used super glue. Most will do fine. If a contact adhesive I would go for the solvent type, smells better too RiF Flying even faster in my very bright yellow 226bhp Duratec 7, with internal kevlar/carbon panels and pushrod suspension 😬 😬 😬.for pictures of 7 and carbon
