Wrightpayne
Toyo are listing some new sizes of their road legal trackday tyre, namely:- 185/60 13 @ £69.99 205/60 13 @ £79.99 185/ 60 14 @ £88.99 The prices quoted on their web site include VAT and fitting though they do appear high (particulary the 14's) compared to prices I've seen on Blatchat for A048's. These are obviously RRP - has anyone got prices from their local supplier? Ian

simonbell
I`d thought about going for these but there were doubts over availability when I enquired early Feb so went for 48`s. Delberts Wallet
Thinking of changing to these and got a quote for supply only from a local tyre dealer; 185 60 13's £45.00 and 205 60 13's @ £54.00. Seeing as I can get them fitted for free that aint bad. Will hopefully get some for the weekend so will let you know how they go. Graham Perry
Early comments that I have read from people are positive although some said they went off when pushed.
simonbell
Gareth Keep me posted on how you get on with these especially re: grip v mileage I`ve fitted 48`s but will need a new set before USA. If the 888`s look like they are getting better mileage I may go for them for the tour at least. What will you be comparing them to.....ie what are you running now? Delberts Wallet
I'm going from Bridgestone RE720's so can't really compare like for like. The bridgestone, while a good list 1a tyre are still like grip compared to 32's or 48's etc. and the mileage I've got out of them including track days and sprints is getting on for 10K. Casbar
Just spoke to a mate of mine, who is a Lotus and Toya supplier. He said they have a set of the R888's on an Evo, which has now done a couple of tray days and 4000 miles and they are still road legal He did mention that they are not great in the wet though

noddy
Best price I have been quoted so far is £64.99 185/60 x 13 and £77.99 205/60 x13 all fitted, balanced valves etc inc VAT. Can anyone offer a better price? Your recommendations please......... I'm based in Uckfield, East Sussex R400 .......... I love it
Myles
Do Top Gear do Toyos? They were certainly the cheapest for 720s by a fairly long-chalk. I'll check when I'm home.
