EFA
SIzes are somewhere around Large/XL - about 42" - 44" Chest. Hat is reasonably large but might not fit someone with an unreasonably large head (thinks of a few names...). It is adjustable to fit a wide range though up to say 63cm/7 7/8 in helmet head sizes (Simpson!)with ease. Peter Lydford
I'm interested in the jacket, can you let me know the underarm lengths and back length, also a price guide would be usefull. ta.
EFA
Peter, Its very difficult to measure because of bulk of it. A close examination reveals the size is recoreded as 42" R and the hat is a Medium. Its a good fit on me and I am fractionally under 6 feet tall, about 42 - 44 " chest and we wont talk about by waist, but there is a belt on it to haul the beer gut in if required. If you wear a 40-44" medium length suit jacket, this will fit you. A few more details are such that it is a genuine Irvin,. made under licence by Aviation Leathercraft, and it is the no longer available official Caterham Cars type with green leather "Super Seven" breast logo and green leather inserts and logos on the flying helmet. Oh and the price - £300 - thats cheap for a genuine Irvin - see here
Peter Lydford
Bugger, I normally wear a 44" long suit jacket, thanks anyway Peter
EFA
Well that was a guesstimate - are you over about 6'2" tall?
Peter Lydford
Yep, I'm 6'2", armpit to cuff of 25", back lenght 29", naked chest size 44" ! technical term according to the ones who say they are my friends is a lanky streak of p1$$ ! If it would fit then I'd be interested, but somehow me thinks not.

Peter Lydford
Arnie, To save me driving all over the place, can you measure the back length of the jacket along with the armpit to cuff length, hopefully the back will be around 28" and the arm 23" ta
