Jonesy365
Hello all… received my SV 420R kit last week after a long wait, finally got sometime to make a start this evening and stumbled at the first hurdle! Im following the order in the build manual, with the upper wishbone the front bolt on both sides pushes against the bodywork and no room to get the nut on the bolt… any ideas or experience would be greatly appreciated? Thanks
BigCol
You’re going to hate this… you need to get a bit biblical with the side skin and push it to give you access/clearance to the head of the bolt/nut. Don’t worry - it’s less industrial (mostly!) hereafter…
ScottR400D
As I recall, I had cap heads on that fitting, made it a lot easier to fit.

Jonathan Kay
What BigCol says. This is described in the text-rich version of the Assembly Guide, along with much else that isn't in the current pictorial version. Please let me know if you'd like a copy. Unfortunately you can’t get caphead nuts.
Jonesy365
Amazing thank you all for the quick answers! I’ll carry on putting all together and when I come to fit the headlights and mounting bracket I’ll go against everything my head tells me and push the bodywork. I’ve just downloaded the text rich older manual and printing now. Thanks 😁

If you look at it a cap head allows the bolt to be run in, the nut doesn’t need to turn, you just hold it. Try that with a hex bolt and nut. Anyway, off you go……
