Silicone hoses?

What's the current thinking regarding a good source for silicon hoses for a K-Series?

In the past I've had a selection from both Caterham and Samco but my car's currently being repainted and the hoses now clash badly with the new colour, yes I know, I'm a tart, but  little things are often important!

My old Caterham branded hoses didn't have a shiny surface, the Samco were a little better, but ideally I'm after a smooth and shiny finished black hose set. Any suggestions?

If you after a plain black silicone hose then Classic silicone hoses do a Caterham 7 K series kit.

Some years ago there was a club BB from SFS Performance, I got a set in red to match the engine cam cover.

I've just removed my blue silicone ones and fitted a set of black silicone Samco ones that look infinitely better.

For info, Samco's lead time is >10 weeks at the moment.

I changed all my k series hoses at the start of last year - used SFS (Lee Smith) and they were excellent had a slight issue and sorted very efficiently with no drama.

I ordered regular kit for my engine with heater (explain type e.g. clayton as hose positions/lengths can differ!) but also extra bespoke length hoses as I was doing the coolant mod at the same time (changing the submarine tube). Don't forget to get the right type of stainless clips which they can provide.

Oh ....and they gave the discount as per original bulk buy to members

Used Classic Silicone Hoses for a set of black shiny ones last year. Provided excellent customer service and had a lot of knowledge regarding Caterhams. Ordered and the hoses were delivered within a couple of days.
