7 wonders of the world
what size tyres though Andy 185/60 , 205/60........??20psi cold is too high,Ideally you need to aim for 20-21psi HOT so you'd be looking at 16PSI for a a car running 185/60 on the front and 205/60 on the rear depending on driving style and ambient temps. andy99998
That's interesting, I have as you say 185/60 fronts and 205/60 rears, so I'll try dropping it a bit all round, thanks for the suggestions :-)

Dartmoor7
I have 185/60x13 R888s all round and never have them above 16 psi cold. Was same when I used A048Rs and A032Rs, sometimes with 205/60x13s on the back. And, actually, on the original 205/45x16s. grumpy the 7th
20 psi cold seems very high but I currently still have a bit of life in the excellent A021's at least for the next 500 miles (if I'm lucky) ? I run mine at 15 cold.At 20 psi cold I'd check the tyre wear indicators and see how much the centre of the tyre wears in relation to the outer edges AND I'd be bouncing along the road.Don't know what tyres I'll end up with when mine do wear out.
