Pete-B
Thinking of fitting a cigarette lighter as previous post, just a couple of questions. Iv'e got a Optimate battery charger so I leave the bolt on connecters fitted, my first question is this, because it's got a built in fuse could I connect to this and interchange with the charger when needed, if yes, where could I get another connecter same as the one on the charger lead, if this is not possible what connecter should I use. My second question is, what rated wire should I use. As you may have guessed by now where electrics are concerned I'm bottom of the class but willing to learn! Thanks for any help. CageyH
Why not wire in a permanent fused link from the ciggy lighter to the battery, add the optimate ciggy lighter connector, and charge the battery through the ciggy socket? Only dead fish go with the flow....!

Stationary M25 Traveller
Exactly what I do - saves the faff of having to lift the bonnet to connect the Optimate. edit - just be sure to get the polarity correct ! Roadsport06
You can order the connector for the optimate to connect it to the cig lighter from Optimate (http://www.optimate.co.uk/) BRG and Yellow nose now with added brooklands
Johnty Lyons
28/030 is what you need to wire it all up. Sorry I should have made that posting more clear in the first instance. http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/VWP-onlinestore/cable/standardcable.php jj N.I.
