ZetecR
Just to clarify, they are a set of four,13inch, Superlight R five spoke split rims. The fronts are 6.5inch and the rears are 8.5inch. The centres are painted black and the rims are highly polished. The tyres are Avon CR500 as supplied by Caterham and are like new. I am wanting £900 for them. steveparker7
Hi I have a Superlight R which could benefit shortly from new tyres. Mine is R registered. I think the wheels will be the same as yours, and I am not really in need of more wheels. However, is the figure of £900 the least you will accept? Where are you located? ZetecR
I still have the wheels and tyres and they are still for sale, but I do want the asking price. I am in the Sheffield area if thats of use to anyone.
EFA
How do you justify the asking price? I can get a set of new CR500's for £340 and a set of MB split rims (r500 type) for £640 -total £980 ex VAT. The R500 rims are not obselete, are not such that you cannot get any spare parts for them, and they are of a true split rim design which is not welded together to stop them causing sudden tyre deflation (which is why caterham withdrew them). The last set of used SLR rims I saw sold went for £200 the set beacuse of this. I'd take the £600 offer if I were you!
