  1. Thanks for all your replies. I now unerstand alot more about CRB's As I am not overly mechanical we have booked the car in at TechSport in Kettering for the fix as the car could aslo do with a service and they are going to look at the warped brakes aswell, so it should all come back in tip top condition Thanks again James Edited by - James Saunders on 5 Jun 2008 12:03:56
  2. Hi I have a 1.8k SS 6speed and since we've owned it its had a slight squeal from as the clutch is biting from standstill, mainly when cold. Its now started to do it a bit more often but not loads. Planning on going to snetterton this weekend but worried that it might fail ? does the noise get more frequent and louder before they fail? What happens if they do fail? Thanks James
  3. Thats 2 '08' plate caterhams spotted within a stones throw of each other James
  4. Spotted in Oundle near Peterborough. Looked and sounded nice James
  5. That seems alot of pennies less than when it was new James
  6. Spalding Lincolnshire, mid arvo today.. Orangey Red colour.. hood up, crap weather.. Looked nice, what was it? James
  7. A friend has this forsale.. Very nice car here James
  8. I will give that a go at the weekend. I suppose if I am making the whole bigger too it doenst matter if i make a mess of whats closely around it.. James
  9. Tried an adjustable spanner, pliers, spanners. They all hit the back of the switch before they fix onto the nut. I have a mate who is a plumber, I will see if he has pipe fitting pliers.. The new red one looks alot fatter than the one in at the moment. Will have to try and make it bigger away from the tubular part. I thought it was leather.. well it looks it ! could be vinyl !!!
  10. Bit of a delay ! But had a go at fitting this at the weekend. Cannot seem to think of a way of getting the old black starter button off. Can feel up behind the back of the dash there is a large nut on the button holding it in palce. Cant undo it with hands and button is too low (resting on the cross member that the bottom of the dash raps around) to get a socket over the back.. Anyone come accross the same problem? Once its out i can see the next problem being how to make the hole bigger without ruining the leather on the dash !!!!! Cheers James
  11. I just did a search for 'whiteblat' and found it to be on the IOW 😳 James
  12. Hi Where abouts are you located ? James
  13. FIA roll bar Single diagonal (not latest design with the X diagonal). Off of a 2000 de-dion roadsport. A few tiny marks, nothing major. Looking back in the forsale section s/hand price seems to be around £150. The Bar is located at my fathers house which is in Oundle, Peterborough. Collection would be preferred as it doesn't look easy to post! Or I could travel a short distance to meet. £150 James Edited by - James Saunders on 30 Nov 2007 14:47:39
