You might want to contact avon direcly about your tyre as it my be a manufacturing fault and by going through CC you might delay avon geting the tyre back and thus their investigation.

Air gauge is better then internal mic (no contact), measure at the bore at the ring reversal point Max wear point) top and bottom. Measure again at 90° to the measurements taken this will give you and idea of roundness and taper of the bores.

I spoke to Simon Lambert at the begining of the year with regards to the shift light option whilst upgrading to the supersport spec and he did rell me that the shift light was no longer available.

I find Autoglym alloy wheel cleaner followed by autoglym alloy wheel seel works for me,(a spray on product but dont spray on to discs).

The block must have a number on it some where. Where did you get the block from it.
As far as I know all engines have block numbers on them even development or proyotype engines.

I think the early "K" cars just had the vents in to the footwell via holes in the scuttle unlike the later "k" cars that have a fresh air heater allows cool air with directional vents

Hello, from my build the Exhaust manifold had to be fitted once the engine was half in (standard exhaust). we dropped the engine in then had to lift it up again to fitthe manifold.

No the Elise had steel discs from the mid to late 1998 onwards, the reason the company that produced the discs went bust gossip at lotus at the time was due to the reject rate on produicing the disc.

I think you`ll find the piston has to be rotated on the rears calipers on both vehicle.
Its for the handbrake adjustment.

Does anybody know the tool (part No) for winding back the piston on the rear brakes,
I also have a Ford focus with rear discs will the tool fit both vehicles.

But after talking to Caterham i need to take the scuttle off to fit the brackets that hold the captive nuts. Im going have to give back word on this item, but it appears the you have a que.
