Hi Les,
They will fit an A4 as I put A4 wheels on the A6 as replacements, same offset.
Blatmail me with you email address and I will take some pics over the weekend.
I'm in Cumbria too (Carlisle) so if you are this way you could take a look 1st hand if interested.

x 4, just taken off my 04 A6 and swapped for 16" for a better ride (Dunblingin)
These are the multi spoke pattern and were a dealer fitted option when the car was new.
They are genuine Audi and free from gouges and kerbing but do need a refurb for cosmetic reasons as the powder coating is flaking.
The tyres need replacing as they are well down on tread so really it is just the rims.
Dunno what they are worth - open to offers before I put them on Ebay
The Autobush poly bushes I have just bought (albeit for a classic Elan not a 7) seem to work in the opposite way to the std Caterham ones which rely on the twisting action of the bush being as it is bonded to the central metal sleeve.
The Autobush ones act like a flexible bearing where the stainless steel sleeve is clamped by the bolt and the bush rotates around it (aided by special grease which is suppleid with the bush).
I too am interested in the question as presumably this reduces some of the springing in the chassis which would have been provided by the fixed torsion type bush.
Given the shared DNA between my 1970 elan and the seven I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that they already have the bushes but just need to match them
You really need to lean on Autobush to get them to supply PU bushes for a seven.
Unfortunately I no longer have my seven however I bought a full car set of Autobushes for my Elan rebuild and the quality and price and service is superb.
By way of comparison their competitors are charging over £200 for a full Elan car set and Autobush charged me £63 inc delivery

Autobush.Com.
Not sure if they do Caterham but just bought a full car set for my Elan (20 bushes in total, stainless crush tubes and special grease) and the quality and price is stunning (£63 delivered for a full car set).
Personally I think Superflex and Powerflex are royally taking the piss with their prices
