  1. I took my runner and bolts to a local metal fabricator and had them tig welded together. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  2. Darren, we had the pressure switch on our Morgan fail. The real hassle is that if it does fail you have to bleed through the brake lines to change it, plus the garage that did ours failed to adequately tighten the joint leading to a progressive loss of fluid on the Autoroute in France Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  3. *arrowup*I understood the French were debating the benefits of catalytic convertors on petrol cars vs the energy cost in obtaining all that rare metal too. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  4. I think maybe Stressed Dave is the man you need here, but I know he's away this weekend. When I see him on Monday I'll point him at yuor thread if he hasn't already seen it. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  5. I thought the concensus was that the duratec was better on a 5 spped as it has big torque at lower revs? Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  6. Current Morgan hoods clip onto the sides of the screen frame and are then locked down at the back with clips similar to the ones on the rear of our bonnets. Would something similar help you? not sure how easy it would be to get to the inside rear through the rollcage? Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  7. Another vote for 1144s. Transformed the stopping of my car, and for a silly low price. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  8. As Myles says, with my powerspeed system on the K there is about 30mm from No 1 primary to the alternator. I've wrapped the primaries with the cheapest wrap product from Rally Design, about £20 for 50' of 2" wide. Under bonnet temps are now much lower, with a corresponding increase in the temp of the unguarded silencer. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again

    throttle bodies

BOSS has one in for sale on here, in his "Shed clearout". Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  10. Are you sure it isn't a CO high? Cos that would point to a failed or missing catalyst. CO2 should be a lot more than 4% in exhaust, but the test should be for CO and possibly hydrocarbon. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again

    Oi Wile7

Do you have email at the moment? If so what's the address? BTW please give generously to Bundle's Big Charity Walk for Asthma research here Ta. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again

    Invisible 7?

Mine is red with black wings and still seems hard to see. I normally drive with lights on, and in the photos on my sig link you might be able to see white strips on the leading edges of the wings. That's proper retroreflective tape from ebay, and does make it stand out well. BTW please give generously to Bundle's Big Charity Walk for Asthma research here Ta. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  13. Rob Grigsby has had 2 blow outs, I think a couple of others have had problems too. If it were me I wouldn't drive on those. BTW please give generously to Bundle's Big Charity Walk for Asthma research here Ta. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  14. Took me about 20 mins per side to raise it on mine. I assume you've got adjustable platforms? BTW please give generously to Bundle's Big Charity Walk for Asthma research here Ta. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
  15. Lifting the rear of mine by 15mm made it very much more pointy at the front and loose at the back, so if you've gained 20mm rake I'd tread a bit carefully BTW please give generously to Bundle's Big Charity Walk for Asthma research here Ta. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
