Works for me, but it does take a good 45 seconds to load the update page and then another similar period to save the changes. When I go back to my profile I have "changes were saved" in green at the top and can see the changes to my profile.
I am rebuilding an engine thats had HGF... no its not K series!! :) Its about 12 years old - dont think its ali. The old HG has left a lot of residue behind. Whats the best tools / chemical to use to clean this off? I have seen gaskets come off blocks before but this one has left a lot of metal flakes etc behind.
Previosuly had both. Cant say as I noticed a huge difference myself. Perhaps the RBs felt and sounded a bit smoother - but that could have been very much to do with the map.
Will have to dig a bit more then.
Its an 8x4 vehicle so its got a centre diff diving the 3rd axle and a rear diff driving the 4th.
Both open diffs in normal operation... hmm.
Had a prop shaft fail yesterday (not on a 7!) and whilst I had it jacked up I had turned the main flange a few times just to check the diff is ok.
It turns nice and quiet but I did notice there is quite a bit of slack in the take up of drive onto the flange - is this normal?
Its a good 1/2" of play?
I am not an expert on diffs so pass it over to the POBC! 😶🌫️
I get it and I guess most people who filled in the survey wanted it so I am cool with that. If CW would do a limited run on another model I am up for it though.
I will have to back out chaps, its a bit too... ahem, old man for me is the C3.
If you do the more sporty one (C8?) later down the line I would have one of those.
Quoting Roger Ford: You can check here. I thought most post-2002 vehicles were OK, but they may have toughened the requirements.
Only till 2012 I think, after that it has to have an RPC or adblue.
