  10. Checked mine tonight, all are 8.8.
  11. Your bell crank bolts should be high tensile. From memory either 8.8 or 10.9. Check on the bolt heads, as these are critical. I think you may be using bogo standard bolts. Do not drive the car until you have confirmed the bolt specs with Caterham Cars.
  12. Should Caterham not perform a recall, or are they waiting for somebody to die. It will happen sooner or later. This component should not fail period.
  13. You do not require an extractor for the fronts. They are tapper roller bearings.
  14. titanium fasteners (6AL-4V). Titanium is 40%lighter than steel, yet is stronger than mild steel; it is more resistant to corrosion than stainless steel & has no adverse reactions when used with other metals. Edited by - tbhall777 on 6 Jun 2002 20:32:34

  19. The sump pan looks very tall. Does it give any additional ground clearance. Does the crankcase run a partial vacuume to assist drainage from the head i.e. head at atmospheric. What happens to the original oil pump. does the pace pump clear the cam belt cover.

  23. Just looked on their website. £157.05 + Vat. This is not an uprated master cylinder. It is simply a change of ratio. More effort, less travel. Less effort and more travel could also be considered to be uprated.
