  1. Saw you coming down from Newlands corner as I was about to go up in my twin car to yours! Hope you had a good day out.
  2. Has anyone seen or done a side by side comparison of these two SVC rear LED light products? Or (i dread to ask) have an opinion on their 'cosmetic' suitability for the Caterham - which one looks better? 1. Round lights in Carbon effect block 2. Rectangular Carbon effect block Thanks Andy
  3. Try SVC for their LED blocks.
  4. I know it's being discussed elsewhere but humour me. Anyone with lecky know how or experience know of any issues that might be associated with these - heatsink, wiring, power etc?
  5. many thanks for all of your comments and suggestions - I'll have a trawl through them later tonight and let you know how I get on. Andy
  6. OK - I was perhaps being overly cautious but what I really want to know is how am I going to connect the new LED bulb holder to the exisiting wiring. The existing connectors are too big to fit. Any wise words of wisdom from electrical wizards? I am trying to avoid too many bodges on the car - even if they do work most of the time........ Andy
  7. Good Morning, I am just replacing the sidelight bulb holders in my SVC 5 3/4 lights from halogen bulb holder to LED bulb holders and bought these - good to go (i thought ), however, I can't seem to find any simple plug in connectors to wire in the existing wires (the original male - female connectors are the wrong fit) so there is a snug watertight seal. I do not really want to go down the solder and seal route. Does anyone any "good ideas" on how to make the connection either with a suitable pre-made connector or something different but not too technical. Many thanks Andy
  8. POBC some advice please.. I currently have SVC 5 3/4" headlamps whihc have the standard halogen bayonet bulb holders and I wish to replace them with side light bulb receivers that will hold something like this. Any ideas where I can source a suitable replacement for my lamps? thank you . Andy
  9. cant seem to make the pic links work? could you BM them to me? cheers
  10. As in the title. I don't mind if it's battered (a bit) but fully functional with or without Cat (it's a '92 plate) thnaks Andy
  11. Loads of us ---- well a dozen or so in all shapes and sizes, some competing others just polished and rubbing shoulders with bentley blowers and Cobras.

  17. Update 1.8 k with some DVA DNA (4 years ago 1.4 to 1.8 +) I'll run it back to James W who looks after the more complicated bits of work for me
  18. Had the hood off last night and oticed purple / pink fluid (dry) down near the passenger foot well and to the rear of the stater motor. thoughts - do i ignore / take it to get it seen to / don't drive it to get it seen to?
  19. The idea of a large 7 on the screen has appeal. Question - different dial and face options - that is ... say blue dial and back face for ex? Edited by - Andy Lef on 30 Jul 2014 14:30:15
  20. Rattie Hi, Is there any chance 😬 you might post a few pics of your new lights switched on (night) for a real view of how good they look? I have the SVC 5 3/4 headlamps and wondered whether you knew if they equated to the Caterham ones you seem to have - for a 'fit' comparison. The LED lights look the spuds by the way Andy Edited by - Andy Lef on 28 May 2014 15:31:01
