  8. btw don't know if it will be practical but I will be travelling from Tesside early evening. Normal route is A19 - A1 - M62 East. If close by I could pick up and pay cash Steve Superlight #63
  9. Hi Bob, Still interested. Will send you blatmail to see if we can sort delivery out. Steve Superlight #63
  10. Hi Bob, I'll take this if its still available and we can arrange suitable collection arrangements. Where are you based? Steve Superlight #63
  11. Ah yes but sit on the toilet AND fit silicone hoses and you'll be a world beater 😬 Steve Superlight #63
  12. As above. The only way you could use standard hoses would be to make bits up yourself. Although it is a standard engine the layout is completely different hence bespoke hoses The silicone hoses from third parties are not that much more expensive than the CC rubber ones and should last a lot longer which is why most people change to them when they need to replace hoses. The also look better Steve Superlight #63
  13. My original hoses went to snot without any petrol or oil on them afaik I had some initial trouble sealing one of the hoses with the Mikalor clips but seem fine now. I got them because of a recommendation on here! Steve Superlight #63
  14. Didn't Dave Edmands car have about 700 bhp per tonne and just about made a sub 10 sec 1/4 mile? Steve Superlight #63
  15. No hoses only. Bought Mikalor clips from hosefittings.co.uk Total for all clips was about £20 Steve Superlight #63
  16. I've just bought a complete set of silicone hoses including heater set from SFS Performance. Total cost including L7C discount (25%) was £185 Steve Superlight #63
  17. Steve, Received with thanks. Instructions and photographs look superb and very comprehensive. I am fitting a bell tower rather than external tank but will still be very useful. Not sure when I am going to be fitting mine but will let you know if I come across any useful additions/changes. Thanks again. Steve Superlight #63
  18. Yes please Steve YHM Steve Superlight #63
  19. Get ready to catch the leaping spring when you take it apart Steve Superlight #63
  20. What a fantastic day 😬 and now I am totally knackered. Currently on train travelling down to London for a meeting tomorrow and I feel like curling up in a ball and sleeping all the way. Many thanks to Geoff and all concerned in not only organising a superb track day but also superb weather Roll on September Steve Superlight #63
  21. Gone round all the clips and given them a good nip. Also managed to get a little nip on the water rail studs. Fingers crossed looks OK now. The hose to the water rail needed quite a bit of tightening so it probably was that but there was no sign of any leak at all. One of lifes little mysteries Steve Superlight #63
  22. I'm as sure as I can be that it isn't coming from a hose joint. They are all bone dry. Water rail is probably most likely but I can't see where its coming from if it is. Steve Superlight #63
  23. Have just changed to Silicone hoses ready for Cadwell on Monday as old hoses were perished. I have car jacked up at front ready to bleed air from system but am getting a constant drip coming from the lhs of the engine dripping down on the engine mount by the exhaust. All hoses and the water rail appear dry and I can only track the source back to one of the alternator mounting bracket bolts. Its a steady drip so unless I can find it Cadwell is looking dodgy. Any ideas? Steve Superlight #63
  24. Done as well - put my name down for one of the free samples as well Steve Superlight #63
