  1. Delbert The answer to your question is "yes, it is dead or alive". Next question? Steve
  2. However the diagrams for cars under 2000cc (K1 and K2) don't show the need for a petty strut - just a basic roll bar with 2 rearward struts. It also seems to be only sports cars over 2000cc that have to meet the 5cm clearance shown in K60(ii).... Confused....
  3. Ah well.... It looks as if I needn't bother getting a licence this year as I don't want to fit a roll cage to my CSR when it is mainly used for touring. I can see the logic in it, but it will put some people off. Steve
  4. It is coming up to Blatchat's 16th birthday... 11/02/16. I think that this is the oldest surviving post here - I thought I'd find it before Jonathan did.. Steve

  7. Hanns Per I think that Darren on the CSR forum replaced the loom on his CSR, but there are bound to be others who have done it on a K-Series. Steve
  8. I spotted a side shot of my car in this month's LF article on Goodwood - and had it confirmed when I saw it again (C7RSV) on the second row of the grid line up. I haven't seen it for a while since it turned up on Pistonheads as a classic car spotted a few years back. Steve
  9. Keep up the good work Shaun. Steve

  17. I sometimes double post when using the iPad. I type the message and send it, then, when I come back to the iPad / safari later I see the message sitting there waiting to be sent... So I post it t o be sure, only to find it is a double post... i think that the iPad refreshes the view when you switch back on or switch back to Safari. I'd rather double post than have to double type though... Steve
  18. I think of track day insurance as write off insurance. It only really covers you for a major off as most damage you are likely to incur will be less than the excess. That said, I have seen 4 incidents at club track days that would have had bills that would be covered. (Mainly Cadwell, but also Spa - all of them on wet tracks) Steve
  19. OP, Hans Per and I all have the CSR, so may be chassis related. That said, it was never a problem before I had the passenger rear wing replaced. Steve

  21. Bob Thanks - a good idea. I swap my screen to aero sometime so I'll see how much play there is. Steve
  22. Neil mine started doing that after I had the rear wing replaced (another story). It looks like the new wing is slightly closer to the door so that rides up under the pressure at speed, resulting in it popping in. There is some slack in the inside fastener, so my first line of attack is to shorten the strap. Steve
