  1. In carry case - Case is a bit dusty, wrench is like new Draper Part No 3001 £15
  2. Mrs brought this from John Lewis last year but I shortly afterwards brought a 54 bottle rack which is usually well stocked This is a very good quality nice bit of kit but simply surplus so wondered if anyone on here could make use of it for £25 (postage /delivery extra) Cheapest new; here Has been used but you wouldnt know and it even still has the original manufacturers tag in place
  3. Hi Peter, Bit of both really - When I brought the car it had an epoxy repair to the leading edge. I've had to dig out and repair this since but its sound (Ive owned the car for 5.5 years!) Bottom is so worn that the embossed Caterham has almost gone It also weeps oil and Ive had the sump skimmed and tried about 4 times to reseal it but never managed. Sods law says I buy a new one and muller it on a cats eye shortly after! If I replace then I may just keep my old one as a spare but if I dont ill give you a shout
  4. This has been on my to do list for years - Im sure last time I looked they were about £300 all in but now CC price is £380 I think I already know the answer but I take it Im not going to get one of these anywhere other than CC am I ?
  5. I had some play in one of my front wheels so nipped the hub nut up one notch which made is 'slightly' stiff on rotation and there was still some play. After the wet Oulton club TD (back in October) excessive play is back in the same wheel so I guess bearings need replacing and suppose it makes sense to do both sides? (30k miles 2001 SLR) CC price is £25ea here so wondered if anyone knew of a cheaper source before I part with my hard earned?
  6. Just listed a load of stuff on ebay that is surplus following an Office move at work I dont know much technically about this stuff but have tried to price to sell on ebay If anyone here is interested in any of it then feel free to BM offers (not daft please) here
  7. Glad your fixed - I'll try and get mine over to Ian as his reputation preceedes him *thumbup*and I know its not a job I could do myself 🙆🏻
  8. Quoting Mr Locust: Send a copy of the map over or call over with the car it's really not so hard to sort out. Still got your email so ill drop you a line - Thanks
  9. Yeah, Still got the SLR Swapped to Jenvies and Emerald a few years back after a wasted Swiss trip as the SLR didnt run on standard KV2s at altitude Had it mapped by DW at Emerald but never had the cold start sorted as its all gobbledy gook to me
  10. If you BM me I can email you a pdf of the Emerald cold start mapping instructions Not that I understand or can follow them - I have to sit in car with on light throttle for 5 mins to cold start mine
  11. ☹️ Seller got back to me last night - Unfortunately work has got in the way of his weekend and he wont now be able to get them to Mark in time Thanks anyway - Im up that way over Xmas and hes happy to hold out til then so there is a contingency plan
  12. SM25T Ive asked the question and will post response shortly Thanks guys for trying to help - Much appreciated. Heres hoping
  13. Nothwithstanding the advice above, my own experiences are as follows; Ive used Chemical metal on the outside face of a cracked Oil casing cover on my trail bike which I eventually replaced but it was still sound and lasted me several all day rides - No cleaning or prep - I just wiped the outside face of the crack to clear the oil and applied a generous dollop of CM and floated it smooth (ish) Did the same on another fall and plugged a hole in my water pump cover which then lasted a weekend riding in Devon - Had no means to clean or prep and it held true through river crossings and some tough trails When I brought my 7 the dry sump had been previously repaired with CM and 7 years later is still sound. I spotted a small weep a few years ago so scraped out and reapplied more all in situ.
  14. Thanks very much indeed for the offer The seller isnt able to get them to you though I'm afraid so ill keep my fingers crossed ☹️
  15. I brought these as pairs to scrub off my old road tyres and despite having larger rears on my SLR my 205 R88s fit the 6" rims fine. Now I have full set of 6&8" wheels these pairs need to go to clear space in the garage; 2x6Jx13" KN (Minilite style) shod with half worn budget tyres that were fitted and used for the recent club drifting day. The wheels are pretty clean but not unmarked and in particular there is paint lift on the rim edges. Clean, straight and look great fitted as a track pair £70 2x6Jx13" Minilite (Genuine) shod with 185 R888s that are down past the markers but loads of track life left. These wheels are straight and true but have suffered from lacquer lift and corrosion around the rims £60 These would be ideal for messing around - Save you old road tyres and fit a pair to these. Then lash the pair between the diagonals of your roll bar and swap wheels at circuit Hoon til your hearts content and drive home with your road tyres refitted, intact and unworn. Not that Im teaching anyone to suck eggs of course BM me your email address for pics - Courier / Gonads by buyer
  16. Full set of wheels with tyres if anyone can help pretty please
  17. Jake, Can I take the ACBs please? I'll BM you later to discuss collection
  18. Matthew, What 7 will you be in? Your only down the road from me so I will come and tip my hat (Im in a black SLR, K200 SLR)

    Oil Pressure

Peter, Just checked and mu OPG is PSI so I have amended my post I have a low pressure switch so the warning light comes on at 35psi I could trundle along under light load in 1st and still only get 20psi on Sunday. Oil levels were fine - In fact I was overfilled (dry sump) and the overflow was spitting oil out most of the day
