Morning All, I'm chewing over buying a new alternator for my '01 Superlight R as mine is still the original item so its (cough) over-due. I like the sound of the WOSP lightweight race version and Elise parts offer a 100A one for circa £280 https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/engine-components/alternators-starter-motors/rover-k-series-100a-race-alternator/ Anyone know if this is compatible / plug and play or any other suggestions / recommendations please? I searched on here and saw someone had some issues with a similar Denso unit but cant find anything else? Ta

Can anyone confirm the thread size to the water temp sender on a K series top water rail please? Im trying to fit a 1/8npt stack gauge and it feels v tight so thought I best double check before I thread something

Anyone know where to source or the donor part for the shuttle locking black T handles on front rear of the BJ shuttle please? Mine has cracked so wont latch shut GT Trailers have quoted £90 + vat + £13 carriage from Brian James which seems v expensive - A similar garage door handle off ebay is £22 delivered but the shuttle has 70mm between fixing centres and I cant find anything else online to match Anyone else needed to replace theirs or am I going to have to suck it up and buy OEM

Aah I bought the Bar gauge so all is clear now! I'll buy a new TFE lead from think with 1/8 fittings (my old one went with the old gauge and is now fitted to my R53 Cooper S) Thanks for the responses much appreciated;-)

Hi Chaps, I've got the Think Automotive mech OPG fitted to my car but am in the process of swapping the Gauge for a Stack version. The connections that came with the new vacuum hose dont fit the T piece / block Anyone else fitted a Stack OPG and know what connection / adapter or hose would allow fitment please? Many thanks

Im pretty sure the red DDBS-180 impact wrench I have came off a Bulk Buy on here years ago? The batteries have finally given up the ghost a I cant seem to find an equivalent replacement battery online. Can anyone recommend a new battery source or failing that recommend a good quality replacement cordless driver without breaking the bank? (its a minefield out there) Cheers

I'm still trying to dial out rear clunking and have so far replaced Watts linkage rose joists and ARB drop links but not solved all issues. Next on the list is the bellcranks which are about £45+vat ea from CC so wondered if anyone knew if these were a donor part or if there is an equivalent please?

Hi Chris, I was more interested in better quality parts or upgrades? I've spoken to a few who say their drop links have play even soon after replacing so wondered if anyone knew of a better alternative esp rose joint as an alternative?

I need to swap out rear roll bar drop links to try and dial out the play and clunking. (Not sure I'm ready yet to remove even though its been suggested) Anyone know if there are any better quality drop link sources than CC parts? Or even better if there is a rose joint upgrade anyone has done and if so what did you buy and from where? (My links drop down below the DD tube just in front of the rear wheels and not above as I have seen some others) TIA
