Pair of Tillet seats removed from my S3 Caterham - Some light scratches, age related marks and slight lifting / scuffing to the fabric on ouside edges as pics. Just had a no expense engine rebuild to my Superlight R and avaialble are my Forged pistons and con rods if of interest to anyone on here 1st? Anyone recommend best rivnuts for mounting engine bay item ie inertia switch and catch tank onto my new CF bulkhead please? im unsure which M5s to buy, knurled, countering, ally, rubber etc or is there one best suited for composites? Cheers Sandy

Hi Guys, My K series SLR lump is due a refresh, DVA have no availability until the New Year and given the engine is currently out I was hoping to get it back in sooner Anyone know of anyone who may have the skill, appetite and availability please? Many thanks Sandy

Hi John, Michaels CRB upgrade involves a replacement bearing (Burton Power HD3260) and a modified carrier to suit I've also done your spring upgrades and have the later strengthened clutch arm which was further modified and strengthened On a recent Blat my gearbox developed an whistle which was intermittently present with clutch in and out, idle and under load. It didn't sound like any prev CRB failures I had ever heard (on other cars) but on removal last night the CRB is raspy when spinning and there is slight play This has lasted 10 years and 20k miles and not the end of the world as the g'box has a small leak so I will get a refresh and the engine is also due if I can find someone that can do it anytime soon. Oh and the rear main needs doing again

Hi Guys, I did Michael Calverts Blat Chat CRB upgrade to my K series SLR back in 2010 and just had the gearbox out after it developed a whistle. The CRB is shot so has failed after 20k miles I can easily but another item from Burton Power but before I do, I wondered if anyone else had replaced and if so did they source anything else? Many thanks

Hi Ian, I'm not sure this will fit my van due to my rear spoiler - If give it a go for £50 if that's any good and I'd pop and collect from the next Hathern meet? Feel free to email me and am happy to stand aside if you get a better offer ;-)

This is probably a long shot but I have an R500 silencer I am going to try and fit to my SLR Its a larger bore and a shorter fit than my current CC and Raceco fitments I have a fabricator to make me a new connector pipe from my 4-1 but he has asked for a drawing Anyone have any silencer drawings or something that might help please?

Morning All, I'm chewing over buying a new alternator for my '01 Superlight R as mine is still the original item so its (cough) over-due. I like the sound of the WOSP lightweight race version and Elise parts offer a 100A one for circa £280 https://www.eliseparts.com/shop/engine-components/alternators-starter-motors/rover-k-series-100a-race-alternator/ Anyone know if this is compatible / plug and play or any other suggestions / recommendations please? I searched on here and saw someone had some issues with a similar Denso unit but cant find anything else? Ta
