It takes the push in driveshafts. It was fitted to my 2009, factory built Caterham.

I'm selling the original 3.92 open differential and housing that came in my Caterham 1.6 K series. I purchased another identical diff and got a Quaife LSD fitted to it and then swapped the original out of the car - so it is now for sale. Car had only done 3500 miles when the diff was removed. Located in South Devon, but I'm travelling to London this weekend - could potentially deliver if on route. Asking for £250 ono.

Thanks Ian, those pics were very helpful. I got my wife to move the gear lever and got the silver disc to line up with the slot.....gearbox fixed! What a relief....thanks for the advice.

I removed the top lid of my type 9 gearbox to check oil level and fit and access fitting so I can check/change oil in the future. I've now put it back together and I can't select gears properly. The gear lever feels terrible, like it is in the wrong position and restricted movement. I may have inadvertently moved the gear lever whilst the top lid was removed from the gearbox. Is there a technique for working out what position the gear lever should be in for putting it all back together? Trackday on tuesday and I'm starting to panic! Any advice gratefully received. thanks

Hi Ian No I didn't do the job myself, a garage did it. After looking at the verniers and the uneven idle, I'm just a bit concerned if it has been done correctly. It runs well up the rev range though, just less good at low revs Adam

I've just had a mildly ported head, supersport cams, verniers, 52mm throttle body and kmaps ecu fitted to my k series. It has now got a pretty uneven idle (see video here ) and on checking the verniers it doesn't look like the cam timing has really been adjusted at all (inlet seems set in the centre and exhaust perhaps just off by 2 degrees). Does it look and sound like the cams have been set up correctly? I am new to all this so would appreciate any advice from those that know. Everything fitted was perviously fitted to another K series and running ok. Thanks Adam

Emerald K3 Ecu. I bought this to use with my K series engine, but have ended up going a different route. Had a firmware update by Emerald at the end of 2020 (cost approx £100) unused since. Includes 2 cables. I can send images if of interest. Asking for £380 for it (including insured delivery) NOW SOLD
