  1. Oli I have an adjustable set that came off my 2004 R300 over a year ago. A little patina but in good overall condition. I only changed them last year when I was splurging on various upgrades and had a what the hell why not go for Nitrons as well moment. They are still with the Caterham specialist garage that did all the upgrades for me if you want pictures. BM if you're interested. Peter
  2. Try Portiacraft. They're a well known independent used Porsche dealership with two Porsche trained mechanics on the staff. It's run by Harry The Bastard as he is almost affectionately known. They certainly used to offer a guaranteed buy back price for peace of mind.If they haven't got what you want in stock they may be able to source a good example for you. Peter
  3. Today at about 1230 coming off the roundabout at the A20/A225 at an rather impressive lick given the wet conditions. Peter
  4. For fitting to my S3 Roadsport D cage. Peter
  5. Crofton Road Orpington this morning at 1130ish. Orange with full cage (allegedly) and driver wearing glasses and a green and yellow baseball cap. Given that it sounds like my car which was in the garage, it may have been wishful thinking by MiL that I'd be out when she visited. Peter
  6. Julian - Good news. I hope it solves your problem. I've sometimes wondered about having mine serviced but you've ruined the usefulness of this thread by buying secondhand ;) Peter

Gary - have you forgotten to take you pills today? ;) Peter
  8. If you have any problems, give them a call. I found them very helpful when I spoke to them last year. Peter
  9. Gary ...if you need any advice on how to take good photographs... Peter
  10. Today at 1650. I was in a black X5 and honked my horn. Peter
  11. I use a CTEK on my Banner which does gradually lose some electrolyte. I switch on the CTEK for a few hours each day and check the electrolyte monthly. I'd probably leave the CTEK on if I had more confidence in the electrics in the garage . I recall John at Redline telling me that one shouldn't expect more than four years or so from a Banner, although some may manage longer. Mine is almost five years old. Time to resurrect the what battery thread and smash the piggy bank. Peter
  12. Sue SWMBO was watching the programme in the kitchen and ran into the lounge, grabbed the remote control and changed the channel before she could tell me why... I missed the original broadcast as it aired when I had to work for a living. Merry Christmas to you and Peter if I don't see you before then. Peter
  13. Sue (looking gorgeous as always ) on Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is on BBC 2 today buying tat from Bingo Braxton. They sensibly used the photogenic Bishop and kept Peter well hidden as the programme is pre-watershed. Peter

Ralph - you have a BM. Peter
  16. Ed Thanks. I'll box up the CH package. Can you BM me your contact details including your email address so that I can send puctures if the F1 wheel and pedals? Peter
  17. I have cleared out the following from the loft and cupboards: 1. Logitech Wingman Formula Force (force feedback) steering wheel. USB/Serial connections. Cost c.£119 new. Looking for £40. 2. Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel for PS3 (adapters are available online for PS4), with advanced force feedback, sequential shift gearstick, wheel-mounted gear shifter, two pedals and dual clamping system. This steering wheel is unused and in it's original box. I think I bought it ahead of buying a PS3 which I didn't, in the event, buy. Looking for £35 3. F1 SIM - Racing Sim Digital steering wheel. Plug and play. This is not force feedback but is a beautiful piece of precision engineering. The steering wheel is in leather and would not be out of place in a Seven! The steering column and pedal box and pedals are in metal and sit on a two-piece wooden base in the shape of an F1 cockpit which needs to be clamped to a table or stable base. Even if you don't use it for gaming, attach it to your coffee table for the next motorsport event you watch on TV. Cost £150 new. Looking for £40. 4. CH Products Pro Throttle; Rudder/car pedals; force feedback Joystick. These are quite old (compatible with Windows 95!) with serial port connections. The throttle and joystick buttons and switches are programmable. All in boxes. These cost some £300 in total. Looking for £30 for the package. 5. Sylvanian Families John Lewis shop. Not mine but bought for my daughter... This is new, unused and in it's box. A good present for a daughter, or niece for Christmas. This was a special edition and cost £70. Looking for £35. I'd prefer collection from Orpington given the weight and bulk of most of the items, though GONADS is possible as is delivery to SE London or North Kent. If you want postage it will be at cost. Peter

    Headlights

I have a pair of black 7" headlights off my 2004 car bought by me in 2008. The headlights came off the car at about 7,800 miles. They're in good nick when I last looked at them. BM me if interested. Peter
  19. I used 221 (I think) in black on mine. Works fine. Peter
  20. Ian - sorry. I didn't think your car was on the road. Nigel - sorry. I didn't know you'd be free. Have you retired too ;)? Let's look out for some clement weather in the next few weeks and you may buy me lunch. Peter
  21. Martin - we were on a blat to Goodwood for lunch and just for the sake of it. There was a McLaren event on though we left before it restarted. Mr Symmo was suffering from his excesses of the previous evening and Caterham bladder was an ever present factor for the blat. Poor Old Soul. Peter
  22. It might be worth having a word ACES. They are very helpful. (They reprogrammed my non-user programmeable shift lights to my preferred settings for a modest £36 after an engine upgrade.) Peter
  23. Late morning Saturday - on the A14. Peter
