  1. Yellow? No problem, sir, any particular shade? Funny thing is, in summer I fly this one with the doors off - look down by my left leg and there's 1000ft drop. Yet I get vertigo just watching this *eek* here It's the bits with no safety harness that gets me. Mad Manx

  3. 😬 What, like your R600 - with wheel spin in 5th Yes, great to see you and the amazing cars you work on. New kart circuit at Jurby really is superb - pop up on a race day - you'd love it. Boxster now sold. Brilliant sports car, now with delighted new owner. Edited by - Mike C. on 26 Aug 2010 23:56:33 Edited by - Mike C. on 23 Sep 2010 09:01:27
  4. NOW SOLD - AND MUCH MISSED ☹️ Slightly unusual one; we have a stunning Boxster 'S' that we've owned from new, but isn't getting enough use. So, although not actually for sale and not advertised anywhere else, if someone on here was looking for an exceptional Boxster in this price bracket, then we might be prepared to sell it. - 2005 987'S' (3.2 6-Spd Manual) - 19,000 miles (Full OPC Service History - every invoice on file) - 1 Owner (our 4th Boxster, ordered from the Factory and supplied by our excellent OPC) - Just Serviced, and very thorough Official Porsche Warranty extended to June 2011 - Lives in a heated/dehumidified garage with other toys. Very high spec: - Special Order GT Silver (darker than normal silver - used on Carrera GT) - Black fully electric roof - Special Order Full Leather interior in Terracotta (again from Carrera GT) - Factory Hard Top (perfect if you want to use it in winter and looks very retro) - 'Adaptive' Sports Seats with Memory - Heated Seats - Bose Sound System - 6-disc CD - Cruise Control - Porsche Communications Management (GPS Navigation and Phone Module) - Park Assist - Plus a few other bits and pieces Cost over £50,000 - still looks and drives like new (and one of my favourite Porsches) - £21,950. Not wishing to be rude, but serious enquiries only please - Edited by - Mike C. on 23 Sep 2010 09:00:03
  5. I know someone who could be interested so i've sent you a Blatmail. Edited by - Mike C. on 23 Jul 2010 23:07:18
  6. George, how many years has this car been in your family - you're not selling the 'family silver' are you?
  7. It's an interesting piece of kit, but I think best suited to someone with a very large, flat, close cut lawn - such as a football pitch. And it may need fettling to keep it running well. But £500 would seem good value to the right person, especially at this time of the year. It should find the right level on ebay.
  8. Apologies to anyone who has been trying to contact me. I forgot to renew my Club membership so I've been off-line since Saturday. To update; I am prepared to sell. The price is as above, and for a further £400 I will include an indoor fitted Lotus cover, an outdoor fitted microfibre cover (these cost £250) a spare pair of front R500 magnesium wheels, a spare matching Caterham nose cone, a set of used AO48s, plus other any other spares and accessories. Already had quite a lot of interest but for pics email direct at - mvc@fly7.co.uk - I'm nr Tetbury. Edited by - Mike C. on 9 Jan 2010 15:05:06
  9. Hi Mark -happy new year. The real shame is that I've averaged less than 800 miles pa in it 😳 Having said that, it has been great to have it in the garage available for summer fun and the occasional relaxed track day. Nothing beats a Seven on the right road . I always planned to keep it until my son was old (and sensible) enough to use it. But he's getting keen on racing so we are looking at other factors, and I'm re-jigging the rest of the portfolio. So far I've had five serious blatmails (thanks gents). I'll send you all some updated pics and info later.
  10. ***NOW SOLD TO ANDREW G.*** Apologies to others but, in fairness, Andrew was the first person to enquire, maintained contact and came down as soon as the weather improved. Just in case anyone is considering an R300, mine might be for sale in the near future. It's a superb, very hi-spec, example that I have owned and loved from new, but other interests/commitments mean it is sadly getting much too little use. Basic details: - Factory built, Millwood supplied and serviced (all meticulously documented with every invoice from new) - Built as Superlight 154 in 09/01 but returned to Factory on my behalf by Millwod to be upgraded to full R300 spec. (inc R300 badging) - 1.8 (160bhp+ Supersport R) engine - 6spd, LSD, Wide Track, big brakes, etc - Finished in unique Bugatti Racing Blue (Provence Blue) - All the usual Superlight options plus: - Caterham Carbon dash with Stack instrumentation - Caterham Carbon Tillets (with removable Oxted leather padding) - Caterham R500 split rim magnesium wheels - Caterham Carbon Airbox with R500 radiator - Full hood (never used) plus half hood, plus tonneau, etc - Quick release s/w (with two Momo wheels - leather and suede) - Two full sets of Carbon wings (f&r) - one set painted, one set unpainted - Caterham Carbon nose cone - Plus lots of other nice items and detailing - Corner weighted, serviced and MOT'd only 100 miles ago. - Only 5,159 miles from new (mostly touring, plus one track day per year) - Lovely condition - kept in a heated/dehumidified garage Cost well over £30k, so price would be around £17,500 Photos on request - mvc@fly7.co.uk Edited by - Mike C. on 16 Jan 2010 20:54:37 Edited by - Mike C. on 17 Jan 2010 11:38:18

  18. Nice 993s are very sought after. Last of the air-cooled classics. Mad Manx
  19. Do any Track Day operators allow these on circuit with 'closed wheel' cars? (Obviously the Caterham is a 'closed wheel' car ) Mad Manx
  20. Apparently, these are very sought after for learners and under 21s - if it's got the small engine. Mad Manx
  21. I bought the watch new from Panerai in 2004, and it has only ever been worn on special occasions, so it is still like new, with no scratches. There's a mark on the inside of the leather strap where the deployment clasp has pressed against it, but this can't be seen and there is a brand new strap anyway. The case is brushed steel with a polished bezel. PM me if you are really interested and I'll try and take some pics. Mad Manx
  22. I do like the 'Emergency', but for my purposes I just need the Aerospace for day-to-day use. My a/c (heli) has an ELT/PLB. Mad Manx
  23. I did think about that, and the Tissot 'Touch' might be an option. Mad Manx
