  4. Now Sold I've bought a new one each year, hung it on my wall, then stored it away. - About 33 in total - Large - c.60cm x 55cm - Very high quality - stunning images of each year's contemporary models - Cost around £40 each, new (iirc) - All in excellent condition (2014 unopened) - Most in original boxes - Some very rare and collectable - Some could be cannibalised to create beautiful framed prints - Potential 'commercial opportunity' for someone Obviously they should be put on DDK or the Porsche Club Forum, but I thought I'd give it a try here first. NB: - Sold as a single lot, prefer not to split - Buyer collects - £240 - Sold - Proceeds to NtL - Think of it as donating to a good cause and getting some fantastic Porsche memorabilia for free Now going on DDK/PCGB Edited by - Mike C. on 20 Jan 2014 20:02:36
  5. Rod Arnold was first to respond - so in the post.
  6. Lockyears Farm Strips and Private Airfields Flight Guide (edition 5). I was given the latest 6th edition for Christmas. It's a pocket book (360 pages) with all the small and private landing strips listed and detailed - great fun. They retail at £20, but I'll happily send it free to any pilot who might find it useful. First person to post here and blatmail me their postal address can have it. Edited by - Mike C. on 28 Dec 2013 09:58:51
  7. Ad is still there, I think, but PCGB site was down earlier.
  8. "Sunny Lancashire", I believe. I would assume, from the spec., it was originally a Porsche management car - used for some press features - with the reg 'A 911'. The PCCBs would be the Gen 3s, which are brilliant with numerous benefits, but you'd need to get their remaining life checked as new ceramic discs are costly. They could have a life of 200,000 mls, but would need measuring and inspecting. I'd assume the Warranty runs until June 2014. Peter Bull is a Porsche Club official and is known to be meticulous with his cars. When you look at some of the 'old 911 tat' that people are spending this and much more on, it does look like a nice buy, with a proper manual gearbox.
  9. Not mine, don't even know the car, but saw this on the PCGB forum Porsche I know there's quite a lot of 911 enthusiasts on here and thought this was a stunning example.
  10. We will shortly be selling our trusty - Isuzu Trooper 'Citation' 3.0TD 3 Door - 5spd * Late 2001 (51 reg) * 92,000 mls * Full Service History (All receipts) * MOT to end April 2014 * Taxed to February 2014 * Finished in metallic mid-green with grey interior * Full top of the range 'Citation' Spec: * ABS, Heated Seats, Air Con, Cruise, Fog Lamps, Alloys, etc * Recent Radio/CD with Bluetooth * Full Towing Equipment The Good: * It's an excellent vehicle. In very good condition throughout * Most everything works as it should * We've owned it for nearly 6 years, (and a neighbour 5 years before that) and it is used everyday for commuting by my farm manager. It has been very well maintained by our local Isuzu specialist and had all the Isuzu recalls carried out. Should Mention: * Driver's electric window a bit slow * Rear tyres will need replacing shortly * Engine light sometimes comes on (then goes out) but Garage could find no fault Obviously can't provide any guarantees, but it's a good, honest, well spec'd, 4x4 that has served us well and, with the right tyres, will go almost anywhere - perfect for winter or towing. Only £1,550 - SOLD ON BLATCHAT Blatmail me for Photos - it looks nice. PS Looking for a lowish mileage Mitsubishi Shogun SWB ('05-'08ish) Edited by - Mike C. on 6 Dec 2013 22:12:59

    Nokia 6310i

For some reason the Nokia 6310i is regarded as one of the best cell phones of all time.
  12. I had a SWB V6 in the mid-90s and was impressed with the build/durability. We have several vehicles, and this would be to replace an Isuzu Trooper (2001, SWB Citation, 85k mls) that is used by the farm manager. Again, tough reliable, go anywhere vehicles but he fancies a Shogun.
  13. That was quick, Boris Ideally looking for something a bit sooner, but by all means blatmail me the full details and I'll let you know. thanks
  14. Looking for a nice Mitsubishi Shogun. Prefer: - SWB - Diesel - Around '05 - '08 - C.£5-8k - Low(ish) mileage - Good order, full history - Will be a working vehicle, but needs to be nice Thanks
  15. Colin, the date is blank, although I believe it was purchased in Feb. The amount is £50. email me your address and I'll pop it in tonight's post mvc@fly7.co.uk
  16. I've got a Virgin Experience Day card and voucher with a value of £50. No names or anything on it, £25. Sold ! Edited by - Mike C. on 21 Oct 2013 20:40:53
  17. Yes, I saw that, but the colour and side chrome reminded me of the Singer. Great cars - better than the Mini IMO, smooth peppy engine (Coventry Climax?) and brilliant rear engine handling.
  18. Might be wrong, but isn't that a Singer Chamois ?
  19. Sorry, forgot to say, PM me for pics.
  20. Perhaps not the usual fare on here, but I thought I'd post it in case it's of interest to someone. 2010 ('11MY) Porsche 997 Turbo 'S' PDK Coupe - One owner, full OPC history - 17k miles - Lovely spec ('S' model is fully optioned) - Perfect condition throughout I've had a new 911 every three years since 1984, and this was my first Turbo. It replaced a GT3, but I was doing longer trips with family and wanted something super safe, comfortable and practical whatever the weather. Fantastic car, truly epic performance, and stunningly competent, yet great fun. Cost new £125k and next year's 991 Turbo S will be £140k+ otr. Currently at OPC being prepared for sale - can be bought through them with all facilities and 2 yr Warranty for £80k(ish), or may still be possible to buy from me for £75k(ish) Porsche video
