  1. Assuming they'll fit a Tillett can I take one of the sets of seat runners please?
  2. Graham, as you suspected the sprint will be a single lap of the outer cicuit, as it was in 2013. I quite enjoyed the cut through that we used at the end of the first/start of the second lap for the sprint last year and think a change to the alternative layout at lunch time would be good. Happy either way though.
  3. If you are doing the Cadwell track day on Monday 18th May and are looking for something to do over the weekend before, why not come over to the circuit early and watch the Caterham Graduates who will be racing there on 16th and 17th May.
  4. I doubt you will find one for a live axle car with a cage. I have a Classic Graduate and managed to fit a tonneau that had come off a de dion car with a cage. I just needed to put some new poppers on the car and tonneau to get them to line up. It turned out to be an acceptable fit.
  5. Pendennis, see below. The first picture is of the rack I am selling and the others are photos that I found by doing a google search to show how it is mounted to the trailer. It can be adjusted forwards or backwards to suit your car's position on the trailer to assist with getting the weight distribution correct. The foam taped to the back bar on my rack was to protect the car's nose if it got a bit close while loading. Please let me know if you wish to proceed. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/IMG-20150305-01685.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Low%20%20level%20rack.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Low%20%20level%20rack%202.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Low%20%20level%20rack%203.jpg
  6. Pendennis, I'll post some photos (it's easier than trying to explain) when I get home later this evening. Phil, your interest is noted.
  7. Brian James low level tyre rack to fit BJ trailers with a 165cm wide bed e.g. Minno, Clubman 950 or Clubman 1000. In good condition but doesn't fit my new trailer with its folding draw bar. Collection from near Newark, Notts. £130 or would swap for a Brian James high level rack.
  8. I have for sale a Schroth 4 point harness in red. Only fitted for a very short period and used on only a couple of track days so in virtually as new condition. FIA date expires at the end of this year so presumably they were manufactured in 2011 (they have a 5 year shelf life for racing). Photos below. Cost new is £170 + VAT from Demon Tweeks. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/harnesses/schroth-caterham-ii-asm-harness Price is £60 plus postage. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Harness%201.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Harness%202.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/Harness%203.jpg
  9. I am selling the Tillett B4 seat that I have removed from my S3 race car. It is the 40cm wide version. The seat is naturally more reclined and slightly less figure hugging than a standard Caterham Tillett seat. The seat comes with fixed mounting brackets. It has some scratches on it, and unfortunately scratches show white on this seat so they are visible. There are also a couple of small holes drilled in the left hand side, close to your left knee. These can be seen in the photos below. The seat on Tillett's website is: https://www.tillett.co.uk/shop/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=32&cat=B4+Racing+Car+Seat A new one would cost £593 + VAT and plus the mounting brackets. I am looking for £250 for it. If nobody's interested I will put it on ebay next weekend. It will need collecting from near Newark, about 5 minutes from the A1. http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%201.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%202.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%203.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%204.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%205.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%206.jpg http://www.lotus7.club/sites/default/files/images/users/6689/B4%20pic%207.jpg
  10. Does anybody have a headrest lying around that they don't need? It will be fitted to a live axle roll cage so needs to be the old type that consists of the head rest and steady bracket, both of which bolt to the cage using a U bolt. A picture of what I'm trying to describe can be seen here: http://img.pistonheads.com.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/Fullsize/parts-and-accessories/caterham/parts-and-accessories-caterham-S1562600-2.jpg
  11. Subject to being able to book a day's holiday from work I'll have a place please Graham. Should be a good opportunity to give the car a shake down
  12. Thanks Charles. I'll get in touch if S&C don't come good.
  13. Thanks. I've sent Callum an email
  14. Does anybody have a lap timer that they no longer need? Ideally a T100 or T200 like this http://static.wixstatic.com/media/e71f60_6ea03f3fc2213fac120ec57c010d6bae.jpg_srz_227_192_85_22_0.50_1.20_0.00_jpg_srz They seem to fetch about £50 on ebay but though I'd check here first.
  15. I had this on one of my cars and the cause turned out to be a knackered damper on the corner that was locking first.
  16. Has anybody got a standard Caterham spec Tillett seat, ideally with runners, that they no longer need? I would sonsider one on fixed brackets. There's no need for it to be immaculate.
  17. It was announced at the awards lunch but I have realised that there may be some of you out there who still don’t know who the New Comp Sec is. I am pleased to say that Paul Forster has kindly volunteered to take on the role. I am sure he will do a fantastic job having been part of the Club’s sprint championship for many years. You may have already seen his post regarding next year’s regulations. Thank you to everybody for your support over the past 18 months and good luck Paul
  18. Phil, it took me longer than anticipated to get the first draft done so apologies for the delay. Having written the first draft the baton has now been passed to Paul.
  19. A group of sprinters, consisting of management team members and ex-competition secretaries, have just finished a conference call to discuss next year's regulations. We have had a positive discussion and have made plenty of decisions. I am away for the weekend but will be drafting the new regs ASAP for review by those who were on the call. I would hope that they will be available for everybody to read by the end of next week. I am not going to give a run down of our decisions just yet but can confirm that the regs will not be changing quite as much as was originally anticipated. Thank you for your patience while we finalise things.
  20. Nigel, a group of us are having a conference call on Thursday to decide a way forward on all the matters discussed in the tech forum and we will provide feedback shortly thereafter.
  21. Dad (sorry, I’m not sure who you are), you are correct on the Blyton dates. I no longer have the piece of paper on which I wrote down the different options so I recalled my thought process incorrectly. Moving Blyton to 19th April would give us 5 events in a period of 6 weeks which would have a negative impact on the number of entrants at, at least, the first 3 events of the year. I appreciate that Wiscombe is popular with some but everybody was warned that they needed to support it if it was to stay on the calendar and it still had, I think, the 2nd lowest entry of the season. In spite of my concerns I have spoken to MDA to enquire about the possibility of changing dates and they have confirmed that there is no space on any of their other Blyton events. They have made their September date the only single lapper of the year, at our request, and they have had a lot of demand for invitations to their events next season due to Blyton running less sprint weekends with other clubs.
  22. Unfortunately the April Blyton date doesn't work for us as it clashes with Goodwood.
  23. Chris, thanks for sorting this out again. Just one point to note is that Hethel only has one L in it. Sorry for being pedantic.
