  1. Hi there SL, If you want to email me a contact address I'll stick them in the post over the weekend, I suppose they're closed tomorrow & I'll be off to the Beacons ASAP It still involves a little strech to use the heater. If you extend it enough so that it's easy to reach it just irritates the R knee all the time. Ergonomics eh! Andy NB it's not a heater - it's an ancillary cooling system!
  2. If it's of help I've had exactly the same problem & have used the spacer solution. Due to the min order requirement I've got a spare. It's a 8cm nylon one & seems to work OK. Welcome to it otherwise it'll just end up in the toolbox. Someone may as well get the use of it. Do need to use thread lock otherwise it drops of into your lap on a regular basis. Email me if you'd be interested. Andy (still ironing out teething problems)
  3. Hi, I picked up my new build Roadsport 150 with Aerocap in Jan 2011. It had the restrictor in, found that none of the pumps on the motorway stations on the M4 would fit. After running on vapour eventually stopped at Newbury & ended up buying a can & decanting repeatedly on the forecourt. Did tarnish the first drive a bit & caused a bit of sphinter puckering. First job when I got home was grinding away the offending article, best thing I've done & nice easy introduction to the hands on type of ownership I have a feeling a 7 needs. Andy
  4. Tried driving up & down the road a few times looking for it. The combination of the loud exhaust, narrow terraced street, an English reg plate (from Caterham) & International Day told me it was time to leave. Open car, chip shops & pubs - never a good mix. Fully expect its providing waterproofing for a pigeon loft by now... Andy
  5. Hi, if you've got the time & inclination there's a new half hood somewhere on the main street in Ton Pentre, Rhondda. Forgot to do the little straps up & it shot off on Saturday. Expensive lesson ☹️ Andy
  6. Hi there, First time posting as it seemed odd to when I didn't actually have the car, rather like wearing a Ferrari jacket to drive a Fiesta. You are correct, I had just collected my new 150 Sigma Roadsport from Caterham South - the roof was up at J11 it had been raining at the start. Pulled off at Reading services to take it down & TRY to refuel. Had been a tad noisy & sweaty with the hood up & heater on. DIscovered that the problem with the Aerocap filler & BP nozzles hasn't been solved. So I thought I'll just nip to Newbury services & try again. As it was just a short hop I hadn't put jacket, hat gloves on. As I hit the slip road onto the M4 it rained - it rained biblically! I then discovered that rain does not go over the top, it goes everywhere, outside screen, inside screen, on glasses, on lap. Eventually cobbled together a filler solution at Newbury & got dressed properly. It was a very long day & a long drive back to Wales, certainly better when open to the sky. Looking forward to seeing how things go around the roads & getting used to the less cosseted driving experience. Have a feeling 2011 will be a fun year.
