    Nothing to worry about, the plate has the bung on it and the gauze sits behind it. There should be about 1 1/2 ltrs in sump. On refilling i put 1ltr into the the sump in the usual way and about 6ltrs in through the oil tank. ps don't over tighten the allen bolt as it goes into aluminium. HTH

    Mr Chips. On my Duratec there is an allen screw on the left hand side of the sump which looks like it goes through a plate, this will drain the sump. Behind it is a bung and a gauze tube which acts as a filter. HTH can't supply a photo as my garage is frozen shut. 😔 Edited by - Dave Allen on 25 Mar 2013 17:53:39

    I assume you mean harness rather than seatbelt 🤔 I never had a problem with leather seats but tillets are better as you feel one with the car.
